About this villa rental
Ideally located at the entrance of the village of Goult, the house sits in the heart of a small hamlet. Though recently constructed, the property contains all the charm and traditional materials of the region. The main door opens onto a staircase leading to the ground floor. Here you will find a living area and one bedroom. Upstairs you will lead you to three additional bedrooms.
Going down these entrance stairs to the right, you arrive in the fully equipped kitchen with a large table for family meals. In the next room, a large living room with high ceilings offers all the comfort for moments of relaxation around a warm fireplace. Thanks to the many glass doors, the rooms are very bright. Moreover, they all have access to the terrace and garden. The master bedroom to the left of the stairs is very spacious with large closets. It has its own shower room with wash basin. Independent toilets are located right next to the stairs. Upstairs are 2 bedrooms with double beds, one of which has its own shower room. The third bedroom with twin beds has an en suite shower room. These share a separate WC.
The garden is shaded by a magnificent oak tree. The pool is sunny all day. There is a part of a covered terrace with dining for lunch in the shade and a seating area to relax. This home offers every comfort for a perfect family vacation!

Spent an amazing week here with ages 6 months to 80 years, and a terrific time was had by all! Ideal location just a few min walk to a beautiful village that’s not crowded with tourists yet has everything you need with friendly shopkeepers, and just 15 min to so many quintessential towns of the Luberon. The air conditioning is nice for summer, including when we arrived in late May. The pool is comfortably warm and in sun all day, yet there’s also plenty of shade nearby on the loungers and on the huge patio. Beds are comfortable, linens are of good quality, and plentiful bath and pool towels are provided. Strong and reliable wifi throughout the home, which we learned after moving properties from another home in the village is not always a given with the older homes with thick walls and quirky wiring. Although this is a new build, it has plenty of charm and character, and the benefit of modern comforts and design. Would not hesitate to book again!

Our party of 4 adults spent 2 weeks in this lovely village house in what must be one of the quietest, but no less beautiful villages in the Luberon. We had good directions from Herve prior to our arrival. The house has excellent facilities, inside and outside, a lovely pool, good sun loungers, well equipped kitchen, huge showers in the bathrooms and very sturdy and comfortable beds. Everywhere was spotlessly clean. Walking distance (literally 3 mins) from village shops (epicerie, yummy patisserie and fromagerie) and 3 superb high end restaurants. We were surprised that there is only one cafe (Cafe de la Poste) which was obviously the hub of social gathering and was buzzing every day and evening. The melon festival was a sight to behold. The view from the windmill at the top of the village was amazing. The house was a great base from which to explore the area - beautiful villages like Gordes, Roussillon and the town of Apt all within 30 mins drive, and Avignon is a must (to dance on the bridge of course) and the Avignon free park and ride worked really well. But the sheer spectacular jaw dropping splendour of the Pont du Gard and the Roman Theatre at Orange are simply not to be missed - each within an hours easy drive.We had superb sunny weather throughout our stay, which made the pool particularly welcome on return from a hot day out trawling the local markets or sightseeing. Jennifer the cleaner visited twice and was very friendly and efficient. In fact all the people we met in the village, the shops and the tourist attractions were amazingly friendly and helpful. We would certainly love to return. So thanks Herve for making our stay so relaxed and such a pleasure. All the best to everyone in Goult!
