About this cottage rental
The 100 m2 gite is located on the ground floor of an old farmhouse on the edge of a small traditional Gard village 20 minutes north of Uzès.
Restored and furnished with care, it combines charm and comfort
It includes a flowered garden and a large field partially planted with olive trees with a view of the rock overlooking the village. Private entrance on a small street in the village.
Vaulted rooms with thick walls which guarantee freshness and give the character typical of the villages of the Gard scrubland.
Heated swimming pool with counter-current swimming, closed by pocket windows and therefore secure for children. Field with swing, games and pétanque area. Access to vehicles via a large gate for unloading luggage.
The large living room overlooks a garden with trees and a summer terrace with teak table, barbecue, hammock. It has 2 sofas, including a two-seat BZ convertible. Television and small library.
The dining room with fireplace overlooks a small semi-covered courtyard where a table allows you to have breakfast in the morning sun.
First bedroom with a double bed and a single bed overlooking the living room. Second bedroom with a double bed and an old fashioned wrought iron child's bed.
Small independent fitted kitchen (dishwasher, gas and electric hob, small fridge, coffee maker, toaster, microwave).
Laundry room with large fridge freezer, iron and ironing board.
Shower room with WC, washing machine. Second shower room near the second bedroom. Second independent WC.
High chair and small baby bath.
Access to the swimming pool from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. to share with the owners.
Proximity to a very well stocked bread depot and a country café-restaurant at very affordable prices. Supermarket at 5 km.
Marked hiking and mountain biking trails accessible from the farmhouse.
Many nearby activities: equestrian centers, swimming in the river, thermal waters and fitness at the Fumades, canyoning on the Cèze, the Gardon and the Ardèche, caves and speleology, typical country markets in Uzès, Saint-Quentin-la-Poterie and Barjac, museums, concerts, etc. A welcome booklet and cards given on arrival at the gîte provide all the necessary information.

Wir hatten eine sehr schöne und erholsame Zeit! Vielen Dank an Yves für den herzlichen Empfang und die Hilfsbereitschaft!
Die Wohnung ist großzügig und liebevoll renoviert.
Das Gelände ist sehr gepflegt und eine absolute Ruheoase. Der Pool war auch im April super für die Kinder.
Die Lage des Ortes ist ein guter Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge in alle Richtungen. Wenn man mal nichts unternehmen möchte bietet der gut sortierte Dorfladen alles was man benötigt, ein Restaurant ist direkt gegenüber.

Très beau mas dans une magnifique propriété arborée, au calme. Le propriétaire est très agréable et porté de bons services. La piscine est un plus appréciable. Nous recommandons chaudement.

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans cette propriété. Avant même l’entrée dans les lieux les propriétaires étaient très arrangeants et il en a été de même sur place.
La maison a beaucoup de cachet et est assez fonctionnelle. La véranda avec la piscine chauffée a ravi notre séjour ainsi que le barbecue et la cheminée !
Toute la documentation était à disposition pour visiter les alentours et les propriétaires ne manquent pas de bons conseils.
La maison est bien fournie en vaisselle et serviettes de toilettes et est bien insonorisée.
Malgré la situation sanitaire les propriétaires ont été très accueillants et nous laissent un super souvenir de cet endroit. Merci à eux !
