About this villa rental
Ideal for a stay with family or friends, Villa Attaros is located 500 meters from Omaha Beach. (7 minutes on foot by a pedestrian path).
Comfortable, spacious, bright, Villa Attaros is a detached house of approximately 115 m2. It includes a large living room (living room/dining room/kitchen), 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, 2 toilets, 1 garage with a laundry room and 2 to 3 outdoor parking spaces.
On the garden side, Villa Attaros has three terraces, one to the east, another to the south and a third to the west.
Villa Attaros, located in Saint Laurent sur Mer, is at the heart of the landing beaches (American cemetery in Colleville, German cemetery in La Cambe, Pointe du Hoc, the artificial port of Arromanches, etc.).
For sports enthusiasts, it is possible to practice sailing, sand yachting on Omaha Beach. Nearby: tennis, horse riding, hiking, Port de Bessin golf course, etc.
Bayeux with its historic medieval center (cathedral, Queen Mathilde tapestry, museums, etc.) is 20 km away (20 minutes by car).
For lovers of nature and rural heritage (fortified farms, mansions, castles and abbeys), Villa Attaros is at the gateway to the Regional Natural Park of the Marais du Corentin et du Bessin and the Baie des Veys.

Well stocked kitchen; ping pong table was great on rainy days. Short walk to Omaha beach. Communication with the owners was quick and very helpful. Lots to do and see, excellent location.

The couple who greeted us were pleasant and helpful. We have no issues with them. However, the site stated that there was laundry facilities on site. There was a washer, but no dryer. It is impossible to wash one’s clothes and dry them on a line in a cold damp basement. Also, the check out instructions told us to take glass containers to a location not at the property. Most people when checking out after their vacation have a schedule to follow (we were driving over 4 hours to a train station) and don’t expect to have to deliver recycling to an offsite location. We have paid a large cleaning fee and would expect trash to be covered. This property was in a lovely area, and our grandkids loved it.
