About this villa rental
South Ardèche, recent independent single storey villa with 8x4 swimming pool, in a quiet area, near the village of Joyeuse. Surface 95 m² + 70 m² of terrace equipped with an electric blind on 1. 700 m² of land, including 2 bedrooms (one with a 160 bed and one with 2 bunk beds in 90 + a bed drawer in 90), 1 WC, 1 shower room with WC, large living room of 56 m². Open kitchen with equipment (oven, induction hob, crockery, dishwasher, microwave), WIFI, gas barbecue, Air conditioning, recent LED TV and Blue-Ray player in the living room, LED TV and DVD player in the main bedroom .
Depending on the number of occupants, we offer an air-conditioned outbuilding of 15m2 with a 140cm bed and an independent shower room with WC. Optional cleaning at 100 € (150 € with dependence) extra. House labeled "Furnished with tourism" classified 4 *.
Nearby: swimming in the river (Labeaume and Chassezac), Vieux Joyeuse accessible on foot, market on Wednesday morning and night market on Sunday evening, walks, canoe rentals and just 20 minutes from the Ardèche gorges. * Please note the tourist tax is € 1 / night / person over 18 years * to be paid on arrival.

We had a lovely 10 days at the property. I speak very little French so Max was extremely helpful using Google Translate to explain everything. Make sure you follow his directions (not your Sat Nav) as the roads through the centre of the town are very narrow. The house was well equipped and comfortable. It’s a nice stroll to the town (downhill there but uphill back up). The evening Sunday market was lovely and the day market on the Wednesday was huge (do as Max suggests and walk). We visited nearby sites and kayaked using the nearby company CCC (approx. 20 mins drive away). Nearby supermarkets made food shopping easy and the local wine was very nice. The pool was perfect with a great view. My husband loved the hammock and we enjoyed the pétanque. Don’t forget your mosquito spray though. Thank you Max!!

We, a couple, spent 6 days here. The place gives 100% privacy, no overlooking neighbours. The cleanliness was also 100%. We felt 100% at home and comfortable. The pool area, where we spent most of the days, was super. Sun and shade; whatever you prefer. We got Prime TV on the TV in the evenings, which was nice, so we didn’t have to watch Joe retire in French. The Joyeuce village is walk distance away. Make sure u don’t go there when it’s Sunday and 2pm as all will be closed incl. the well equipped local Carrefour. Nothing can be perfect so, it was hot in the bedroom during nights, but that was maybe also our own fault as we did not have the heart to keep the AC in the living room on the whole night. This was our 4th holiday house through VBRO and it was the best one we’ve ever had. We recommend and would come back.

Dans cette location, il y a tout pour passer des vacances de rêve : le calme tout en étant à 10 min à pieds du centre, dans une région où il y a bon nombre de très jolis villages à visiter. Une maison très fonctionnelle et très bien décorée donnant sur un extérieur 5* avec sa piscine (et la douche), ses différents "coins" (tables à manger, apéro, salons de jardin, pétanque), ombre naturelle sous les arbres, etc. Max nous accueille avec la plus grande gentillesse et se montre très discret lorsqu'il vient s'occuper de la piscine une fois dans la semaine. Nous ne pouvons que recommander cette location.
