At the foot of the ramparts: As the name suggests, this town house is located at the foot of the walled enclosure of Tournus, close to the abbey Saint Philibert, its cloister, its chapter house, its cellar ...
Completely renovated in a loft spirit, the house offers high quality services, in a contemporary and very warm.
On the ground floor: large living room with lounge (flat screen TV, DVD), kitchen open to the dining area (oven, hob, fridge / freezer, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine, tumble dryer, appliances raclette, fondue, pierrade, food processor, etc.) and wc.
1st floor: 2 double bedrooms with TV (1 bed 160cm and 1 bed 140cm), 1 with bathroom (washbasin and toilet) and 1 with bathroom and toilet.
2nd floor: shower room with wc, large triple room (3 beds 90cm), and relaxation area with 1 bed 110cm and 1 sofa bed 2 places, many games, library.
The walled garden is equipped with a gas griddle and an electric barbecue, a garden furniture and sunbathing. A relaxation room with 1 double bed (160x200cm), at the bottom of the garden, has also been renovated, revealing part of the ancient ramparts of the city ...

In winter, electric heating is charged according to actual consumption.

We stayed in this super house for 1 week in august. Everything was impressive: the house itself, the decoration and furniture, location, view from the window! We loved it. Great kitchen, loved to cook there. Lovely garden. You don’t need a car here. You can walk everywhere, the nearest boulangerie is a 1 minute walk, carrefour supermarket within 10 minutes!
Tournus is very beautiful, especially the St Philibertus. Walks along the Sâone, diner at le Rempart.
I would love to come back one day.
Communication with Florence went very smooth!

We can unreservedly recommend this town house in Tournus. We stayed three weeks for a family reunion. The house was clean and well-equipped, with large rooms and everything we needed for our stay. Its location in the center of Tournus was perfect. Tournus is interesting in itself, with many good restaurants, and is ideally located for day trips to fine places in Burgundy. It was everything we expected from the listing and more!
