We were in Talloires just for 2 days for paragliding. The apartment was quite comfortable and had a fabulous location within 5 min walk of town center where there were cafes and grocery store. We were in Talloires in late September and discovered that several local cafes were closed for the shoulder season. Therefore we tried we cook in the apartment. However, we learned after communication with the owner that the gas stove and cooktop were not usuable since the gas tank was empty. This was disappointing and luckily we could get by with the one electric burner. The kitchen was not fully equipped (no dish towels, no lids for the pans)..but we got by. If you plan to cook in the apartment, be sure to check in advance. Also, be sure to obtain very specific directions to locate the apartment. We had to stop at the Tourism office for directions and never would have found the place on our own. The address provided did not match the road signs or actual building number. The view of the lake and the apartment were exactly as pictured. I could (and did) sit on the balcony for hours. Now that we are wiser, I would return to this apartment and Talloires again.

This property is in an excellent location and has fantastic views of the lake. Some items in the property needed replacing and updating. The fridge did not work perfectly, we could not access the WiFi and the oven door did not shut properly. However, it was clean, comfortable and well equipped. It was also good value compared to other property in the same area.
