About this farm stay rental
We, Mathias and Natalie Klausmann, would like to meet you and welcome you to the Oberhubhof in Hofstetten, in the middle of the Black Forest.
You will find us in a side valley of the Kinzig Valley, far away from any through traffic.
From our new apartment, which was completed in 2015, you have a beautiful view of the valley from the balcony.
From the balcony you can also see directly on our playground, where you can also barbecue.
The apartment is located on the first floor of the courtyard building and has 62m² of living space.
Following breakdown:
1 bedroom with double bed / with TV
1 bedroom with two bunk beds / with TV
1 hallway
1 bathroom with toilet
1 living-dining area / with TV
1 balcony.
On our farm is still active agriculture, we have cattle and pigs we also market directly on the farm.
This means that you can also get Black Forest ham and sausage specialties on request. We also have our own honey and schnapps from our own distillery.
In addition, every Friday fresh wood oven bread is available.

Absolutely stunning house with views over the Black Forest, it was lush! Spacious apartment with delightful beds. The children were in heaven with the trampoline, sandpit and play equipment in the garden! Fresh bread offered by the lovely hosts. Highly recommend!

Our family of 4 had a wonderful stay at Mathias' farm. We travelled for 3 weeks in Europe and this was hands down the nicest, most well-equipped apartment we stayed at. Mathias and family are incredibly welcoming and gracious hosts.
Our two girls loved the kittens, playground, farm atmosphere and most of all interacting and playing with the host children. (with a little help from a translate app) We got to sample delicious farm produced sausages, tour the stables and really experience authentic black forest farm life.
The location is a perfect base for exploring the Black Forest. Some highlights for our family were themed hiking trails for children, the bear & wolf rescue center, exploring the small villages, the alpine coaster and especially the open air farm museum. I highly recommend this apartment and region for a visit and we hope to return someday.

Rundum zufrieden, einfach Top Unterkunft mit sehr netten Vermietern! Es hat an nichts gefehlt und wir würden uns jederzeit wieder dort Einmieten! Die hausgemachten Wurstprodukte sind super lecker inkl. des hausgemachten Bortes. Nur zu empfehlen!!!!
