About this house rental
Picturesquely located in the well-known holiday resort of Traben-Trarbach on the Moselle, this charming town house offers the ideal starting point for boat and bike tours, hikes and excursions in the romantic Moselle region. In less than 5 minutes you can walk to the river bank and in the pedestrian zone with many shops, cafes and restaurants.
Our holiday idyll at the foot of a steep vineyard so typical of the region is divided into two modern apartments including 2 kitchenettes and is perfect for larger families or groups of up to 8 people. In addition to 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms (+ 1 toilet), the house has a fitness room, an atrium courtyard, a roof terrace with access to the small garden directly at the vineyard and with a view of the city towards the Moselle.
As part of extensive renovation measures, the property was put into a new building similar condition two years ago, without losing its charm.
*** ATTENTION: from 21. January 2019 will see extensive road construction work begin on Schottstrasse. The expansion will be carried out on the market starting in four sections, with our vacation property in the 1st Construction phase is located. The work in the 1st Section are expected to be completed by April 2019. During this construction phase, it is unfortunately not possible to drive to the house by car. An attempt is made to preserve the sidewalks. A dedicated alternative parking lot is available to our guests on the banks of the Moselle.

Eight family members stayed here for 6 nights. It was nice that we could all stay together. The property manager was good at answering all of my questions. Our mom (82), stayed on the 1st floor. This was nice for her because she only had 1 set of stairs to go up. She had a bed area, small kitchen & bathroom. Our complaint was the cleanliness. The trash cans were full when we arrived in the basement and there was wet laundry in the dryer. There were many spiders and spider webs. There was food left in the cabinet from the renters before us (where the pots & pans were). And there were crumbs in the top bunk bed. The property manager did send out the care taker but she only asked us questions and put the dryer on.
