About this apartment rental
The apartment is located on the ground floor of a building site in the city center, two minutes from the Cathedral and the Basilica of Santa Croce. In the street where the apartment is located there are two paid parking useful to leave the car. The area of the Holy Cross has become for years the "area of the events" of the Historic Centre of Florence, in December in Piazza S. Croce (200 mt from the Apartment) is by 'space to the Christmas markets in November is point arrival of the Florence Marathon (event involving over 10 000 athletes) and in the period of June matches take place in the Calcio Storico Fiorentino. There are also numerous local night clubs where you can relax, listen to good music and have a drink after a day pass to enjoy the wonders of our city. The apartment is also 200 meters from Florence's Duomo, with Brunelleschi's Dome and Giotto's Bell Tower without forgetting the Baptistery. A few hundred meters away there is also Piazza Signoria with Palazzo Vecchio, today the headquarters of the municipal administration and at the time of the Medici family. Next to Palazzo Vecchio and the Uffizi are all their works known worldwide and can be accessed at the Vasari Corridor, a real physical connection between the Palazzo Vecchio and Palazzo Pitti, via the Ponte Vecchio. The location is perfect. You can walk everywhere. The apartment is super clean and very comfortable. Kitchen is great. Gianni was a wonderful host. We stayed for ten days and loved it.

The location of the apartment in a safe and central residential neighborhood is unparalleled. One block to a full size great supermarket and a view of the Dome. It is a ground level property with all safety and convenience features: full kitchen, large living area, two full bathrooms , one of them with separate shower and soaking bathtub, clothes washer and dryer (dehumidifier), and 1 room with a loft with great comfortable beds, plus 2 sofa beds in the living room. The pictures do not tell the whole story about this beautiful home. Although we had concerns about the lack of reviews for this property, the owners were very open about this fact, they reassured us that the property was as depicted and had not been listed with VRBO for a period of time.
The best thing about the property, though, are Gianni and Barbara: they were attentive, kind, available, helpful and certainly went way beyond of our expectations to help us through our stay. There are no better hosts in Firenze. The home can accommodate more than six people considering the two sofa-beds in the living room, so we are hoping to come back to stay with friends.
Anyone who wants to be in a safe residential area, with all conveniences in a gorgeous home in Florence near all mayor historical attractions should try to stay in this property. You will love it as much as we do. Thanks Gianni for everything!

Thank you Barbara and Gianni for welcoming us into your apartment with special treats. This apartment is perfect in every way: within walking distance to most attractions in Florence, safe, clean, well-equipped and appealing. We really enjoyed our stay in this beautifully decorated apartment. The owners were also very kind to give us information about the Florence attractions such as places and restaurants to visit. We would definitely recommend this apartment to our friends and family.

Giannis family was amazing!Thank you for welcoming us with wine and your own honey.The apartment makes you feel that you are in Italy; high ceilings beautiful paintings on the wall and the bedroom on a second floor was the best. We were a family of seven and we had plenty of space not to get in each other nerves. The apartment is super clean and equipped with everything you need; towels, blankets, confers, pillows, soup, kitchen items...Location: the apartment is almost in front of this cute 60s bar that you must visit; bar Rex but you do not hear any noise when you are inside the apartment. The main attractions of Florence are walking distance and you have everything around super markets, restaurants... also Gianni leaves information for all attractions in Florence and how to get around.Thank you Gianni
