The village is small and quiet, supermarkets can be found in Berau (<10m by car) or Haüsern (<15m by car).

Wir waren das erste Mal in dieser liebevoll eingerichteten Ferienwohnung zu Gast.
Es übertraf unsere Erwartungen um ein vielfaches!!
Super freundliche Gastgeber, die jederzeit erreichbar waren.
Hier haben wir uns alle, das waren 4 Erwachsene und 2 Kinder, 5 1/2 und 1 1/2 Jahre, sehr wohl gefühlt.
Wer Ruhe und Erholung sucht, ist hier genau richtig
Viele kleine umliegenden Ortschaften kann man in wenigen Autominuten erreichen.
Es wird überall etwas für Kinder aller Altersgruppen angeboten.
Rundum war es ein klasse Urkaub!!

We received a very warm welcome from the owner and her family who were most helpful and hospitable. The fridge had been stocked with cold drinks and the owner had placed fresh flowers around the apartment for our arrival. The following morning we were provided with fresh bread and honey.The whole apartment was immaculate, very light and spacious with plenty of storage, well-equipped to a high standard of quality, clean and very comfortable. The luxury bathroom was stocked with a range of toiletries and the modern kitchen was very well equipped, everything had been thought of - clean towels were plentiful too. The bedrooms were very comfortable and all decorated tastefully – our children were very happy to find that some games and toys were provided for their enjoyment.The flower-decked large terrace and beautiful view over the surrounding countryside toward the distant Swiss Alps (which we did glimpse on a few occasions) was a lovely extension to the living space as you had the choice to sit and lounge or eat out on the terrace as well as inside the apartment as plenty of seating was available.There was ample parking and use of a garage if you needed it.The owner and her family were very friendly, unobtrusive and went out of their way to make us welcome. They also organised a very personal and unique experience for us during our stay for which we were most surprised and thankful. They were more than willing to arrange activities for us and had other useful advice about local events and places of interest that we wouldn’t otherwise have known about. We followed these recommendations and were not disappointed. The location of the apartment in the village of Brenden was ideal as it was quiet and in a beautiful natural landscape but within easy distance of many places of interest or activities. Walking and cycling were on the doorstep, lakes and mountains or shopping and swimming a short drive away; theme parks and Switzerland a little further away but returnable within a day. There was so much to do that we would love to return one day. Throughout the whole process of booking, paying and the holiday itself we had no problems at all and can thoroughly recommend this stunning property, its idyllic location and the kindness and generosity of its hosts.
