Old, simple apartment house "Zen Stecken A", 3 storeys. In the district of Zen Stecken 1 km from the centre of Zermatt, in a quiet position. In the house: lift, storage room for skis, central heating system. Supermarket 800 m, restaurant 100 m, bakery 650 m, 15 minute walk to the centre, bus stop "Matterhorn glacier paradise" 80 m, railway station "Bahnhof Zermatt" 1 km. Mountain railway, ski rental 100 m, ski bus stop 80 m, ski school 700 m, children's ski school. The keys‘ handover takes place by the agency Interhome in Zermatt.

Open kitchen (oven, dishwasher, 4 ceramic glass hob hotplates, toaster, kettle, microwave, freezer, electric coffee machine, fondue Set (cheese)). Bath/shower/WC. Balcony, south facing position. The flat was very comfortable for 2 adults and 2 kids, good sofa bed and cool additional single murphy bed in the bedroom.

The place was very clean which is a big positive for us. It is in a quiet part of the town. The trails are easily accessed from the property. The bathwater was nice and hot.
There were a few things that could have been improved upon. The lighting in the dining/living room was very dim. The refrigerator made a constant high pitch noise when it was running. We could not find the climate control/thermostat so it was warm at night even with the windows open.
