My stay in Lanildut was the most peaceful week of my life, and started and ended with how picture perfect the house and garden are. Nadine had cleaned the house so thoroughly you couldn't have found a speck of dust if you tried. The house is fully stocked with thoughtful additional items like extra toilet paper and soap, coffee filters, beach towels, fire wood, etc. There are about 8 different herbs growing outside the front door. I cooked multiple meals and had every tool I needed. She even said I could pick and cook the artichokes that were ripe. It was a little cold, but heat worked fine. I was able to stream TV shows on Hulu with my VPN with no issue. Basically just open your bags and you're moved in.The garden is a gorgeous oasis, and you can barely see another house anywhere in it so it's very private. There are multiple casual and nicer dinner restaurants within a 5-15 minute drive, and a small grocery store within walking distance.I stayed as a solo woman traveler and felt very safe and comfortable but there are lots of beds in the bunk room for a larger group.Added my own photos.
