About this house rental
In the exceptional setting of the Luberon Natural Park, you will be able to enjoy a space with swimming pool and garden that is FULLY PRIVATE, 3 minutes' walk from the center of the village of LOURMARIN, with its entertainment and shops, yet very quiet and discreet. This 35m2 bastidon, completely renovated, with neat and modern decoration, has a main room: with a living area and a fully equipped open kitchen, a separate bedroom with a large double bed 160 wide and a separate bathroom with shower and toilet. The exterior benefits from a pretty landscaped garden, a large shaded terrace and a garden furniture area, a PRIVATE swimming pool (7.5mL x 3m W x 1.50m D) and a pétanque court .
There are many centers of interest around: First, the village itself, classified among the most beautiful in France with its Castle, its Temple and its Church in the middle of the hills with the scent of thyme and lavender, its light incomparable, its alleys where it is good to stroll, its enticing shops, its café terraces, its small restaurants and its Friday market, essential meeting of the region: it is the perfect image of Provence so dear to artists of 'yesterday and today such as Henri Bosco and Albert Camus who lived there and now rest there.
In addition, many sites and other villages are to be seen in the surroundings: among others, Gordes and the Abbey of Senanque, Roussillon and Colorado Provençal, L'Isle sur la Sorgue and its flea markets, etc ...
Without counting the festive and cultural events whose notoriety goes beyond our borders: the Festival of Avignon, the piano festival of Roque d'Anthéron ....
For sports activities, the Luberon is a paradise for lovers of all levels and all ages. There are many mountain biking and hiking circuits (the Cedres forest) or even fishing in the Durance, canoeing, golf at Pont Royal, climbing (Buoux), tennis in the village .... and, of course, pétanque competitions !!

Perfectly located with an easy 5-10 minute (flat) walk to the most beautiful town in the Luberon region. The house was perfect for two people with kitchen, bbq, washing machine and large outside area with plenty of places to relax. The pool area was lovely.

We enjoyed very much our stay in the Bastidon.
The accommodation was excellent, the garden very peaceful, and the swimming pool a great place to relax and spend our time.
The Bastidon is just 5 minutes away from the center of Lourmarin (very nice village with a lot of restaurants and very nice surroundings) and in a strategic position to visit other villages in the Luberon area, as well as Aix-en-Provence and the seaside towns of Cassis and Marseille.
Highly recommended! One week is not enough!

We thoroughly enjoyed this beautiful and well equipped house with lots of outdoor areas and a lovely pool. Very conveniently located to the charming village of Lourmarin - a delightful 10 minute stroll away. The house, pool, and terraces offer complete privacy.

Les extérieurs de ce bastidon sont le point fort de cette location. Les nombreuses terrasses permettent de toujours avoir un endroit à l'ombre pour se poser.
Le bastidon est bien équipé et décoré le seul point à revoir serait la régulation de la chaleur car nous n'avons pas eu accès à la clim qui semble pourtant exister. À notre arrivée, il y avait 2 ventilateurs d'installés. Le bruit la nuit est compliqué.
L'accueil n'a pas été fait par la propriétaire mais par Marie-Christine qui a été très agréable et de bons conseils.
Le bastidon est bien situé,en dehors du bruit du centre et en même temps à deux pas.
Nous regrettons de n'avoir pu profiter de la piscine dès notre arrivée jour d'anniversaire de mon conjoint (mais comme nous l'a dit la propriétaire ce n'est pas de sa faute !)
Nous regrettons surtout le manque de réactivité à notre égard face à ce désagrément durant 2 jours et demi. Si je n'avais pas appelé le lundi pour faire part de notre déception nous n'aurions pas eu d'échange. Échanger avec le pisciniste est une chose mais prendre des nouvelles de ses locataires en est une autre.
Depuis les échanges ont été plus agréables.
La propriétaire nous a invité dans un restaurant (celui de sa fille) et nous a laissé prolonger notre samedi au lieu d'un départ à 10h00. Cela n'enlève pas la déception des premiers jours mais montre au moins la prise en compte par la propriétaire du désagrément connu en début de séjour.
Pour ce qui est de Lourmarin, c'est un joli village que nous avons pris plaisir à redécouvrir.
