About this house rental
The Maisons du Grand Pré is first a large shaded garden, fully enclosed, which opens onto a small quiet square in the heart of Lourmarin. In this garden, a main house with living room (sofa bed 140), kitchen and terrace and a large room (25 m2 bed 160), then, in separate buildings, two rooms (25 m2 twin beds and 19 m2 bed 160) and only a small office.
By the charming street of Grand Pré we walk down to the center of the village where we find all the shops, restaurants, and art galleries.
Each room has a bathroom and a toilet or, for the least, shower and toilet. An additional toilet is adjoining the living room.
The living room with its separate kitchen overlooks the shaded terrace. It is designed to easily accommodate 6 to 8 people. The kitchen is fully equipped.
In the garden, a large sheltered summer lounge allows you to read, rest, or have an aperitif.
The independent laundry room is equipped with a washing machine and tumble dryer.
Garage adjoining the garden.
Telephone, TV, WI-FI internet.
Nearby, mini golf and tennis, and public parking Cherry.

We enjoyed a wonderful holiday in LOURMARIN.
The property is very well located in the village with shops, restaurants and cafes on our doorstep.
Decorated in an authentic French style, the house was cosy, welcoming and very well equipped.
The owner was very helpful on arrival, so we would have no hesitation in recommending this property for its unique features.

We spent the entire month at Maisons du Grand Pré in Lourmarin. The location was perfect for our needs as my wife and I hosted (at various times) visits from my sister, our adult son, and several friends. There were three distinct rooms (each with its own bathroom) giving everyone a good measure of privacy. At the same time, we all enjoyed the main living area, kitchen, and outdoor areas when we wanted to get together as a group. The owner was extremely responsive as was the property manager. We only experienced a few very minor problems, the biggest being the clothes dryer which went out after 2-3 uses (we simply resorted to line-drying so just a minor inconvenience). The on-site parking garage was too tight for our car but the nearby free lot (Parking des Cérisiers) was always available at just a short walk away. We never had to use the car to experience the beautiful village of Lourmarin as everything was within easy and pleasant walking distance. The village was also well located for easy day trips to nearby sites (other villages, Aix, Arles, Pont du Gard, Marseille, etc.). Every member of our party felt that this was the perfect property in the perfect location, and we appreciated the opportunity to enjoy it (and Lourmarin).
