Arrival via mountain railway. Additional accommodations can be booked. Arrival is only possible by train from Lauterbrunnen – 14 minutes driving time.

Overall a great place to stay and will be looking to stay here again. If there is one criticism from me, it's the pillows are down and collapsed to basically flat as soon as your head is on it so could swapped out for something better but apart from that a lovely place to stay with great views.

Racer’s retreat was an excellent property. Very clean, with updated bathrooms and all the kitchen supplies you need (including multiple fondue pots). Check in and out was easy. The property is a bit of a walk from town. However, we enjoyed it every morning and evening, as it provides seclusion and the scenery is beautiful. We would definitely stay at the property again.

The location of the Racer’s Retreat is stunningly beautiful and the accomodations were very nice. Getting to the property from Wengen requires a short hike. It wasn’t a problem for us but hauling luggage can be problematic and it does become redundant along with getting to town for simple things inconvenient.
The pros of this peoperty is that the scenery is stunning, accomodations newer and very nice. There was plenty of room and extra beds left for our group of 6.
The cons are the management. If you need to arrive on Sunday be prepared for paying for Saturday. They cite their office being closed on Sunday so you can’t check in, but you can still arrive. Then it was policies don’t allow for it. In the end it makes no sense and I’m not sure they know why, just be prepared to pay for an extra day. This is something that they need to change and I must give them only 3 stars as a result.
Otherwise...go and enjoy...we certainly did.
