About this house rental
Albogasio is in the Valsolda, the so-called 'secret pearl on Lake Lugano'. The landscape with mountains and lake is beautiful.
The village house with terrace garden on Lake Lugano was renovated in 2013. It is very sunny and with a beautiful view. The interior is lovingly furnished.
There are fruits and herbs in the garden. Sun loungers and parasols are available, which can be set up on the terrace or in the meadow.
It is only a few meters from the lake, with a possibility of swimming on the public jetty. A SUP (Stand Up Paddle) is available.
There are approx. 15 steps from the property gate to the front door.
Parking: free public parking spaces only approx. 50 meters from the house, free parking card available.
10 min. Drive to Lugano or Porlezza. Approximately 30 min. Drive to Menaggio on Lake Como. Public bus connections to Porlezza and Lugano. 1 x day ferry from Oria (10 minutes on foot from Albogasio).

This is my dream house; so beautifully decorated and every comfort thoughtfully incorporated. The renovation of the home is amazing, a gorgeous mix of old.Pros: Well-equipped kitchen, two balconies, spacious laundry room, location, breathtaking views from every window/door, comfortable beds, fans in both bedrooms, vegetable and herb garden, the area, spacious, very clean, contact with the property owner. Cons: Parking (parking pass included to use at one of two parking lots with very tight spaces that are often full), driving around the lake in general is stressful, key pick up was a little unclear, but we worked it out. 30-minute walk to San Mamete, 20 minute drive to Porlezza (sand beach and sun chair rental, water sport rentals (subboards, windsurfing, etc), great gelato and a market on Fridays. Free parking near Panama Beach beach club. Lugano beach in Lugano was a nice change with very clean pools, sun chair rental and yummy Poke Bowls. 45-60 minute drive to Lake Como, for beautiful clear water. We can't wait to return!

Wir haben einen wunderschönen Urlaub in diesem Haus verbracht. Der See lädt zur Abkühlung ein und er ist schnell zu Fuß zu erreichen. Abends noch einen Aperol Spritz in der Bar Simona Baila und der Tag war perfekt.
Zum Einkaufen ging es nach Porlezza, wo es auch sehr gute Restaurants gibt und natürlich das italienische Eis!

Das Haus ist geräumig, sehr sauber, gut ausgerüstete Küche, ein wunderschöner Garten, prächtige Aussicht, Gratisparkplatz. Alles was das Herz begehrt.
Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt!!
