The apartment is very spacious, clean, quiet, modern kitchen with excellent hob, good quality matching pots and pans, plenty crockery. Comfortable bed, lots of storage space, plenty hot water, heating and wifi worked well. Migros supermarket nearby.

The 8.2 rating on B.com meant we had certain expectations that were not met. Automatic communications we received before arrival had a slightly aggressive tone, although this may be due to translation problems, stating extra would be charged for eg early check in, late check out, too much rubbish left in kitchen recycling, flat not left in a reasonable state. Girl who showed us round obviously didn’t want to be there. Extra charged on arrival for use of washing machine. We said we had our own detergent in but we were still charged something like Chf2.50 for electricity for one wash. It seemed very petty when we had paid such a lot to rent the place. Dishwasher not working. A couple of drawer fronts coming off in bedroom. Impossible to have a shower without wetting your hair, so take a shower cap. No hand soap in bathroom. One and a quarter toilet rolls left for a three night stay. It was adequate but seemed petty. Location is fine as long as you realise it is up a very long steep hill from station and town. Bus No 3 runs every 10 mins and stop is nearby. Building site across the road. Noise didn’t disturb us but it may later with windows open.

Gut ausgestattete grosse 2 1/2 Zimmer-Wohnung nur 10min. zu Fuss vom Bahnhof Lugano. Für einen Städtetrip perfekt. Sehr schöne Aussicht, ruhiges Wohnhaus und in ebenfalls 10min. beim Migros. Schön grosses Wohnzimmer, die Küche ist gut ausgestattet, das Doppelbett bequem. Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen.

Appartamento dotato del necessario per poter alloggiare in tutta serenità. Inoltre, è situato a pochi passi dalla stazione e dai servizi principali, nonché a circa 15 minuti di distanza dal lungolago e i suoi locali.

Nulla in particolare a cui far riferimento. Non è consigliato a chi desidera evitare i rumori ambientali del traffico.

Yesterday's temperature was high and we didn't get a proper sleep. The host said that the room rates we paid didn't include the air-conditioning. Therefore, they have removed the remote controls of the A/Cs from the property. An A/C is a must during hot weather. I do not understand how can they say that A/C doesn't include in the room rates. Because it was scorching, we had to leave the windows opened through out the night to get the cooler air in. Since windows were opened it was very noisy as the flat is situated on a busy main road. We had a very bad sleep. The shower in the bathroom is not good. Water flow is very low and it took ages to have a body wash. We had to forget about showers as no way that we could have a shower with that water flow. The host cannot understand, write or speak in English. When we wrote messages, they always responded in Italian which was not convenient at all. Booking.com, please investigate the above as I booked the room via your website.
