Vacation in architectural monument combines heritage conservation and tourism. Historically valuable buildings are taken over, gently renovated and rented out as holiday flats. The model provides a double benefit: the monuments are given a new future and the holiday guests experience a stay in an exceptional building. The idea is being realised by the foundation Vacation in architectural monument (FiB), which was founded in 2005 by the Swiss Heritage Society.

Car park: The car park is right next to the house and is not covered. Access to the house is guaranteed. In winter, when there is a lot of snowfall, the roads may not be easily passable. Winter tyres and snow chains are then an advantage.

E-mobility: It is currently not possible to charge electric cars at the house. There are public charging stations in Scuol. 

Public transport: By train to Scuol, local buses run from Scuol Staziun. From the Bügl Grond bus stop it is 200 metres to the Engadinerhaus.

Number of persons 6: A baby cot (up to 2 years) and a high chair are available. The house can accommodate six guests (plus baby). There are three double rooms available. Two rooms are only accessible via very steep and narrow stairs behind the stove. If required, flat 1 and flat 2 can be rented together to accommodate 11 people. The floors are made of stone and wood, which is why we recommend good slippers.

Garden: There is an outdoor area in front of the house, which is shared with the guests of flat 2.

WLAN: Is available, also a television.

Open: The house can be rented all year round.

Pets: Pets are allowed.

Altitude: 1300 metres above sea level.

IMPORTANT ADDITION
The Chasa Engadina is a listed building that has been renovated with great respect for the existing structure. The tenant is aware of this and treats the property with care. Although the technical equipment is up-to-date, certain functional details do not meet current standards and are a potential source of danger. In particular: Two bedrooms on the upper floor are only accessible via very steep stairs and are not suitable for small children or people who are not mobile. The tenant is aware of these circumstances. The owner, e-domizil and the Vacation in architetctural monument foundation disclaim any liability.

Ideales Ferienhaus für eine Gruppe/Familie von 6 Personen. Genügend Platz zum Verweilen, oder einfach mal schnell eine Mail beantworten. Das einzige nicht besonders ideale, dass man W-Lan nur in den beiden Wohnzimmern und den Zimmern darüber empfangen kann,.
