About this villa rental
Are you looking for peace and relaxation surrounded by nature, yet don’t want to give up a touch of luxury? Then Villa Castelletto will delight you!
Thanks to its exceptional location 270 meters above Lake Garda, you will enjoy breathtaking views that truly impress. The villa itself is set on a private estate of 8.5 hectares and is surrounded by ancient olive trees and downy oaks, numerous fruit trees, and citrus plants. Far away from road noise, you can relax and enjoy a very special holiday with family and friends.
The villa accommodates up to 12 adults in 6 bedrooms with 5 bathrooms.
There are 3 floors; all floors are accessible only from the outside.
Main living area:
Modern country-style kitchen with induction cooktop, refrigerator with ice maker, dishwasher, oven, JURA fully automatic coffee machine, and ample tableware for 12 people.
Adjacent to the kitchen is a small pantry with a wine fridge and a second refrigerator.
Dining area with a large walnut wood dining table seating up to 12 people
and an open fireplace.
Living area with a large sofa, TV, books, and magazines.
Bedroom “Olive Wood”: Double bed, can also be arranged as two single beds on request.
Private bathroom with bathtub, shower, bidet, and WC.
Bedroom “Canopy Bed”: Double bed.
Private bathroom with bathtub, shower, bidet, and WC.
At the rear of the house there is a guest WC, a laundry room with washing machine, and a storage room.
From the central living area you have direct access to the sheltered relaxation terrace with heated whirlpool, sun loungers, and an outdoor lounge area.
Upper floor:
There are two additional bedrooms and one bathroom.
Bedroom “Monte Baldo”: Two single beds and a small terrace with views of Monte Baldo and the lake.
Bedroom “Nature”: Double bed with lake view.
Bathroom with shower, bathtub, bidet, and WC.
Lower floor:
There are two more bedrooms and two bathrooms:
Bedroom “Rovere”: Double bed, can also be converted into two single beds.
Semi-open bathroom with shower, bidet, and WC.
Bedroom “Noce”: Double bed, can also be converted into two single beds.

Both bedrooms have direct access to the large terrace in front of the house with incredible lake views.
All bedroom windows are fitted with insect screens. Enjoy an exceptional sleeping experience on high-quality natural mattresses and 100% high quality cotton bed linen.
All rooms feature underfloor heating for the colder months.
All bedrooms are equipped with air conditioning.

The swimming pond measures 4 x 8 meters and is completely free of chemicals. A separate regeneration zone with aquatic plants purifies the water, softens it, and supplies it with oxygen. This makes the water especially pleasant for sensitive skin, allowing you to enjoy the refreshing water with all your senses—ideally every day!
The villa’s large garden will delight hobby gardeners and plant lovers alike. From ancient olive trees, native apple and pear trees, and fragrant lavender bushes to exotic banana plants, colorful passion flowers, and wild pomegranate trees—you will find all this and more on the property. Everything is cultivated organically, following traditional methods and without any chemical products. The garden invites you to explore, or simply relax with a good book in one of the many cozy resting spots. Enjoy the indescribable views and refresh yourself in the natural swimming pond.
The villa and the large garden are for your exclusive use. The owners, Hildegard and Norbert, live approximately 200 meters from the villa and are happy to provide tips and information.
IMPORTANT: The access road to the villa (800 m) is steep and unpaved. We recommend a four-wheel-drive vehicle or SUV. Cars with very low ground clearance (such as some sports cars) are not suitable.

Beautiful property that has been meticulously maintained and enhanced by the friendly owners, stunning view and breathtaking sunsets at dinner time guaranteed! The house and garden are immaculate! Driving 4x4 strongly recommended as the driveway is a steep gravel path.

Stunning view of Lago di Garda. Very comfortable and spacious rooms for a large family. Hosts were very responsive in a timely fashion to any requests. Glad we had 4 wheel drive - very steep driveway that leads to this private getaway. Locals in nearby village were very friendly.

Probably best to say that our stay at Villa Castelleto vastly exceeded already high expectations. The pictures of the villa give an idea of how the place looks, but only when you are actually there does the full beauty of the place and the surroundings really come to life. So peaceful and relaxing.
Villa - Feels much bigger inside than the pictures show. And everything is so clean and modern and new, but still comfortable and done in a traditional style. Three bedrooms, three immaculate bathrooms (and one toilet room on the groundfloor with a urinal!), huge modern kitchen with everything you'd ever need to cook, fireplace, webber bbq grill, wine cellar, laundry room, deck with beautiful hot tub with amazing views of the lake, outdoor tables, natural swimming pool just up the hill, brand new sauna right next to the pool. Only thing to note is that the upstairs (which has one bedroom/bathroom/and kitchen area) is almost like a separate apartment...there are no internal stairs to get from one to the other, so you have to walk outside. No big deal as long as its not raining! Other thing to note is the driveway; as the hosts will tell you, it is a steep gravel road that can be difficult to drive up when wet. We did NOT have a four wheel drive vehicle and managed to handle the drive, but if you are not an adventurous driver then a 4x4 would be preferred. Fiat makes the small Panda model in a 4x4 version, so you don't need to break the bank in Italy to get a 4x4 car.
Hospitality - couldn't have asked for anything more from the Hofer family. They were the ideal hosts; so friendly and helpful both in arranging our holiday before we arrived, as well as making sure we had everything we needed when we were there. Hildegard delivered homemade fresh bread and pastries to us every morning, Norbert arrived with some fresh eggs from the chickens one day, and they were always keen to check to make sure that everything about our stay was going well without being intrusive. And Maibrit was so helpful in arranging our visit ahead of time.
Surrounding Area - so many things to see and do in the Lake Garda region, from sailing/boating on the lake (can rent boats right from the marina in Castelletto di Brenzone), hiking the Roman Road right from the property, visting Valpolicello or Verona, and enjoying the various towns along the lake. So much to do...we will be back.
