27 km north of Kuusamo, Ruka 8 km.
Apartment in log-built semi-detached house, built in 1990; alcove with sliding door: double bed 140 cm wide and plenty of storage space for clothes, combined kitchen-living room: convertible sofa (width 140 cm) with thick mattress pad. A loft (12 m²): convertible sofa (width 140 cm) + 120 cm wide spring mattress bed.
Bathroom renovated in 2024, including a rain shower. Electric sauna.
Shoe cabinet in the hallway with plenty of space for skiing boots, for example.
Energy-efficient air-source heat pump renovated in 2024.

Summary of reviewsThe cabin is well-equipped and cozy, with a beautiful location near the forest. Plenty of supplies available and convenient access to the ski resort and restaurants. The Oulanka National Park is a recommended excursion, especially the snow hike on Valtavaara at sunset.

Die Hütte ist sehr gut ausgestattet, es fehlte uns nur ein Toaster. Alles auch sauber und gemütlich. Es ist auch einiges an Vorräten vorhanden, Kaffee, Tee, Öl, Haferflocken etc.
Die Lage ist schön, man wohnt im Wald, obwohl nur wenige Meter von der Straße entfernt. Zum Skigebiet und den Restaurants sind es ca 10 bis 15 Minuten mit dem Auto.
Als Ausflug empfiehlt sich der Oulanka NP und besonders schön war die Wanderung im Schnee auf den Valtavaara bei Sonnenuntergang
