About this house rental
An oasis of relaxation not far from the beach and the center of Zaostrog, on the Makarska Riviera. The newly renovated stone house has two double bedrooms, each room has its own bathroom with shower. On the ground floor there is the chic living room with a sofa, which can also be used as an extra bed for 2 small children or an adult, an open kitchen, the dining room and fireplace.
From here you come to the terrace with heated pool and barbecue area. At the pool (7.00 x 4.00 m) with sea view and outdoor shower, you can use the sun loungers to enjoy the many hours of sun. An outdoor kitchen with a barbecue area is also by the pool. The large hackberry trees on the house, some over 200 years old, provide a lot of natural shade in the summer months. The holiday home is the ideal choice for all discerning vacationers

Unser Aufenthalt in der Villa Ana war von der ersten Sekunde an perfekt.
Josip der Besitzer hat uns bereits am Ortseingang empfangen und uns den Weg zum Haus, das etwas oberhalb von Zaostrog liegt geleitet.
Bereits beim Betreten des Grundstücks war zu sehen und zu spüren, dass hier alles mit viel Liebe und Geschmack gestaltet wurde. Der Garten ist top gepflegt und wunderschön angelegt, der Pool wurde vor unserer Anreise gereinigt und auch die Außenküche machte sofort Lust, dort zu grillen und zu sitzen.
Auch im Innenbereich gab es nur Positives zu berichten. Das Mobiliar ist modern, neuwertig und perfekt auf die Räume abgestimmt. Alles war sauber und insgesamt sehr gepflegt.
In der Küche ist alles vorhanden, was man braucht, Gewürze, Spülmittel, Olivenöl aus eigener Produktion und sonstige Kleinigkeiten, die in Ferienhäusern nicht unbedingt selbstverständlich sind.
Die Lage das Hauses ist perfekt zum Entspannen, zum Meer sind es ca. 3,5 km, direkt vom Haus kann man auf verschiedenen Wanderwege die wunderschöne Bergwelt erkunden. Der Ausblick aufs Meer und die Insel Hvar ist sehr beeindruckend und auf der anderen Seite bietet die Bergkulisse einen tollen Kontrast.
Die Krönung unseres Aufenthaltes in diesem kleinen Paradies war dann aber die Gastfreundschaft des Besitzers. Josip hat sich um alle unsere Wünsche sofort gekümmert, er hat uns regelmäßig vom Markt in Makarska frischen Fisch oder Fleisch zum Grillen mit gebracht und auch in seinem Restaurant direkt am Meer haben wir uns mehr wie Freunde als wie Gäste gefühlt.
Insgesamt kann man sich im Urlaub nicht viel mehr wünschen. Vielen Dank für die tolle Zeit, wir werden sicher wieder kommen.

We had a really lovely great two week holiday in Villa Ana. It is in a really peaceful location in the mountains with stunning views of the sea, islands and mountains. It is secluded and unspoilt with fantastic walks and cycle trails on the doorstep.
The outside space is perfect particularly the dining area. It is renovated to a really high standard, which is sympathetic to the building's history. We had two teens with us who really enjoyed the pool and it was lovely sitting out in the evening listening to the owl and the cicadas. It's the perfect mountain retreat but only a few minutes drive to the coast and some pretty beaches.
Josip is a kind and generous host and he went to great lengths to ensure we had a good holiday whilst also giving us our own space. He runs a family restaurant in Zaostrog the nearest coastal village, which is definitely worth a visit. He certainly knows how to grill great, fresh fish.
We would highly recommend a holiday here if you want a combination of a relaxing retreat, and a beach holiday in a comfortably renovated mountain village house.

Das Haus ist liebevoll eingerichtet und in einem hervorragenden Zustand. Die Bilder und die Beschreibung passen einwandfrei. Bereits der Empfang durch Josip ist einmalig. Er empfängt die Gäste im Dorf und führt sie zum Haus. Dazu führt er am Strand ein hervorragendes Restaurant, wo immer ein Parkplatz und ein Tisch reserviert ist. Hervorragende Küche und Service.
Das Haus liegt 10 Minuten Autofahrt oberhalb von Zaostrog. Eine etwas abenteuerliche Zufahrt aber die herrliche Lage sowie das tolle Haus entschädigen für den Weg.
Wir haben eine tolle Woche im traumhaften Anwesen erlebt und haben jede Minute in vollen Zügen genossen. Herzlichen Dank Josip.

This is a lovely property with a rustic feel and with all mod cons. Josip is more than welcoming - guiding you to the door. Zaostrog is well situated to explore the Makarska Riviera and Islands of Croatia. The family restaurant in Zaostrog is lovely and worth more than one visit!The outdoor area is perfect and the fig trees bountiful. We had a wonderful two weeks here during a heat wave!
