About this house rental
At the well-known Saksild beach you will find this cozy and modernized vacation home. The house is located on the quiet part of Saskild, where there is no public parking. This means that there is plenty of space on the beach, as residents here use the beach, so you will always find a nice spot. The house has a large living room in connection with the fully equipped kitchen. For cozy evenings there is a fireplace. There are three bedrooms in the cottage, the one bedroom is a passage room. Denmark's oldest and possibly smallest mini golf course is located a short distance from the house, here you can also buy an ice cream in the summer season. Within walking distance is a restaurant and a store, also open only in the summer. About a quarter of an hour drive away is Odder with a swimming pool, shopping, good specialty stores and restaurants. If you want to visit a larger city with many sights and cultural events, you can reach Aarhus in less than 30 minutes by car. A good hour from here you will find Legoland and Givskud Zoo.

It was a great holiday house. It is a very nice and well equipped house. Everything is there. Nice area, 300 m to the sea, 6 km to Odder. In Saksild you find a well stuffed bakery, in Saksild Strand there is a nice restaurant called Bondehuset and roughly 4 km away there is the bio restaurant Himmel & Hav, which has also an second restaurant in the orangerie in the nice Ecology Garden in Odder.Very worthful information you will get on the internet site "kystlandet". The house is a nice place to go to all sightseeing places near by, as well to Aarhus. We can absolutely recommend this holiday house.

We are familiar with this beautiful part of Denmark. The summer house was just as I expected from the details and photographs on the web-site. A very well equipped house on a large corner plot with countryside to the rear and the beach just a short walk away. Lots of interesting places to visit and things to do in the area. A visit to the newly built museum at Moesgard is a must. We have been several times before when it was housed in the manor house but the new purpose built museum and wonderful displays are very impressive.
Many thanks to the owner for replacing the broken kettle so quickly. Just one small point. We did bring our own bed linen but the 3 beds are king-size and all the duvets are single (just so that you bring the correct size bed linen).
