About this house rental
I offer guests a cozy apartment in an old half-timbered house over two floors.
2 1/2 bedrooms, a living room and a fully equipped kitchen and a bathroom.
I can accommodate a maximum of 6 -7 holiday guests
The upper apartment is on two floors and is nicely furnished with rattan furniture and rattan beds, my artistic photographs and watercolors hang on the walls, they will be comfortably furnished and feel very comfortable in this romantic setting.
The kitchen is fully equipped with a stove, fridge-freezer, otherwise there is also a bathroom with shower and a washing machine on the first floor.
Likewise, a bright and large living room with large landscapes.
The two bedrooms are on the second floor,
A total of 3 rattan double beds are available there in 2 1/2 rooms, also equipped with beautiful landscapes.
In the living room with TV, another person can sleep on a sofa bed.
On the ground floor I have set up a studio where I offer painting and drawing courses or Excursions in the surrounding area can be planned.
There are many restaurants, wine bars and shops in the immediate vicinity, the train station is about a 7-minute walk away.
Parking is available in the immediate vicinity.
The Rheinsteig goes past the house, you can walk both towards the Siebengebirge and towards Bad Hönningen.
Otherwise there is a bicycle dealer about 50m further on, who will lend you a trekking bike for 10 euros a day, with which you can make wonderful tours across the Ahr Valley or along the Rhine.
On all bike excursions you can go back by train (RE 8 to Koblenz and Cologne, the Ahr Valley Railway from Remagen to Altenahr). In addition, you can board the Cologne Rhine ships at the ferry pier and go to Bonn or Go to Cologne or explore the romantic Rhine Valley by boat from Koblenz.

This rental was our first using "HomeAway." Nearly with the rental was as advertised. There is no way to advertise the true charm of this apartment. Built in 1790, it is not the oldest property in Linz a. R. Check out the surrounding buildings if you visit!
Walking through the old town was like stepping back into time. Great bakery/cafes and several different types of restaurants to choose from.
The location was "off the beaten path" yet nearly every location was easy to reach by train.
Chris was a wonderful host to us. He drove us from the train to the house after our long and sleepless trip from Boston. He provided local information for us as well.
