About this villa rental
House Liberty is the perfect place for a quiet, relaxing vacation with panoramic view the mountains of south Crete and the Libyan sea.
Our house is new constructed and it consists of two bedrooms ,one bathroom,a kitchen ,a living room ,a place for BBQ and a big tarrace with spectacular view.
The house is ideal for 2-4 people(it is available a cot and an extra bed)with private swimming pool .There are sunbeds and umbrellas for use.Outside there is parking area,garden with different kind of herbs and place to enjoy the barbecue and the oven made from firebricks.
The kitchen is fully equipped with dish-washer too .In the living room there are traditional hand made furniture and a T.V.In the first bedroom there is a comfortable double bed with 2 bedside tables and a wardrobe.In the second bedroom there are 2 single beds with 2 bedside tables ,a wardrobe and a desk.Both bedrooms have wooden floor and A/C.
House Liberty is suitable for relaxing, cycling , climbing , hiking , swimming , diving , in a very quiet and peaceful place. Alternatively , you can stay in our villa , admire the view while watching the children playing . We have our own traditional farm animals ( horses , goats , sheep , rabbits , cats and dogs) and our own organic crops trees and vines . Upon request you can have a ride on horseback or contact with nature , to see our animals and our traditional sectors and to taste our traditional products (wine , raki , olive oil , milk , eggs , cheese) .
A short walk to village Drimiskos you can find two restaurants -cafés and enjoy the Cretan - traditional cuisine . Spili (7km) is a town with restaurants , cafes , shops and more services .Also in Kerame (3km) there are 2 mini markets. Just 5-15 minutes by car, you can find beaches Ligres , Triopetra Preveli , Amoudi , Holy Fire and St.Paul. We are less than an hour drive from the cosmopolitan and picturesque town of Rethymno.

Wonderful stay. The host was great. Quick to reply to messages and very knowledgeable about the area. The house was great. Everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The pool isn’t massive but was plenty big enough to cool down and the children loved playing in it. The area is stunning. Amazing views and a number of great beaches within a short drive. We were treated to a hot mousaka on our arrival and the kitchen was brilliantly stocked with wine and treats and home made cheese. On one of the days we got a tour of the farm and a the kids got to ride a horse. We felt very looked after. Brilliant place if your looking for a quite stay in the awe inspiring Crete mountains.

Was as good as shown on the App, (i have noticed that a lot of Villas on the App are shown as having a Hot tub/Spa which in this case is wrong and so for a lot of others one`s)
however that did not detract from our holiday all was excellent, Owners, Property,Location and Surrounding area, the owner provided a meal on our arrival, which was very welcome and was of a very high standard, we visited 6 local taverna`s in the area and was not disappointed by any of them. we would return no doubt in the future.

The view from this property is amazing! Eleftheria was very kind and made us moussaka and Greek salad for our arrival. The interior is very traditional. The remoteness and distance from supplies was a bit of an issue for us as we like to cook and the grocery stores were a long way away down winding narrow mountain roads and didn’t have a lot of selection. If you like solitude and a beautiful views this is the place for you.

It’s a very silent and remote place with no neighbours watching seeing into the court or pool.
The landlady and her family are very courteous!
