Old barn completely renovated with beautiful views of the surrounding mountains. Located in a charming quiet village, ideal for rest.
The house is 1km from the first ski lifts (a large free parking is available next to the gondola), shops and restaurants. You can use free shuttles that are 500 m away (but it is more convenient to take the car).
The house consists of two beautiful terraces, a beautiful living space (kitchen and living room), two bedrooms, two bathrooms and two toilets.
There is one bedroom with double bed and private bathroom and another with 2 single beds and 2 other single beds in mezzanine.

Het huis is een typische alpenwoning in een klein gezellig gehuchtje op 25 min rijden van Val Thorens. Het huis is heel mooi en gezellig afgewerkt en alles is voorzien. De verschillende terrassen zijn een groot pluspunt. De omgeving is ideaal om verschillende wandelingen te maken. Er zijn vlakbij de woning verschillende parkeerplaatsen.

We stayed for a week at the chalet over New Year to ski the 3 Valleys area. The chalet is in a very quiet hamlet for which the use of a car is essential with snow chains if there is the likelihood of snow during your stay. It is very well equipped with plenty of plates and cooking equipment.
The main bedroom is spacious as is the 2nd bedroom but the mezzanine was not really suitable to sleep in as it got too hot so our teenage son had to sleep downstairs. There is no bed linen supplied which is common practice in France but I feel this was a bit disappointing that it is not supplied.
The nearest shops and bars are in the centre of St Martin and not really walkable at night. There is a small convienence shop but we went back down to Moutiers to stock up for the week with food etc.
There was plenty of hot water and the chalet was always warm on our return. We loved the quiet area but parking is a bit tight but there is room in front of the garage at the chalet.
If you are skiing we parked on the main road at the point where the resort run goes under the road, you can easily walk onto the slope and ski down to the gondola.
Karen the owner communicated well throughout and we found the property relatively easily even at night.
