Stuibenfall-Tyrol's larger waterfall: The Stuibenfall in Umhausen is an impressive natural experience. The interested viewer has an unforgettable and impressive natural spectacle. The Stuibenfall is considered the largest and most beautiful waterfall in Tyrol. The water masses rage 159 m into the depths.
Recently, a total of five platforms have been built on the Stuibenfall in various sections, from which the waterfall can be experienced up close. Especially on the top platform, the visitor is on 'You and You' with the Stuibenfall.
Every Wednesday from May to October, Tyrol's largest and most powerful waterfall is illuminated after dark! On these days there is also the possibility to take part in guided lantern walks.
Recently, a medium-weight via ferrata, which was set up by Ötztal mountain guides in spring 2008, has been leading along the waterfall.
Experience the beauty of the Ötztal up close: Because our house is a partner company of the Ötztal Nature Park. You can take part in all guided hikes and events in the Ötzal Nature Park for free.

Cross-country skiing, tobogganing, winter hiking: Our location offers routes for beginners as well as for experienced runners, for skaters as well as for classic cross-country skiing, for athletes and for nature lovers.
In addition to moderately difficult night trails and high altitude trails at over 1,500 m, the area offers, in addition to the impressive panorama, cross-country trails between 1 and 22 kilometers in length. Experience the Tyrolean nature on relaxed rounds through the valley or bring your condition to a new high in the clear mountain air. The routes are lavishly groomed and each according to your ability or your needs.
Tobogganing is a wonderful activity for families, teenagers or the elderly. Regardless of whether with a feeder taxi or after a strenuous approach: a toboggan ride is always fun.
In the Ötztal you can choose from a variety of toboggan runs.
Mostly the toboggan trip can be combined with a cozy stop in a hut or an inn.

Nice clean appartment with all requirements. Its central located in Otztal and ideal for day trips to surrounding villages or walks even from the appartment.

Our stay at Haus Huberta was perfect! Huberta was a wonderful host. The apartment was so clean we thought it was new but found out it was 100 years old. The location was great, in a nice beautiful village, with an amazing restaurant 5 min walk, Gasthof Andreas Hofer. We can’t wait to visit again!

My wife and I stayed at this property 3 nights while exploring the Oztal area. This flat works great for a couple or a small family because the floor plan separates the two bedrooms from the kitchen/dining room and bathroom. The pictures accurately depict the flat and its condition. The flat is immaculately kept, and furnished well (it's a real home and not a contrived rental space with IKEA wall-to-wall). The kitchen had every conceivable pot/pan/dish that you'd ever need. There are two markets within walking distance. The owner was really nice and communication was prompt and efficient. We'd love to return, and Umhausen is a great location from which to explore a very beautiful part of the Austrian Alps.
