About this house rental
Villa Kornbitz (94 qm) is situated in the upper Westerwald, surrounded by many sight seeing destinations and beautiful hiking trails.
The Stöffelrundweg (26,4 km) directly passes by the house, the Westerwaldsteig (stage 5) is less than 2 km away, the romantic Holzbachschlucht only 12 km. The Kölbingen geocash trail (9 km) and the 7-Weiher-Weg (32 km) are close by too.
The Kroppacher Schweiz, the Marienwanderweg from abbey Marienstatt to cloister Marienthal (20km), the Lahnhöhenweg and the Saynsteig can be reached easily as well.
Villa Kornbitz is well appointed with two cosy sleeping rooms, a spacious and very well equipped kitchen, a large light-flooded living area with a tile stove as well as a daylight bathroom with shower&tub combination (all on the same level).
The house is powered by solar collectors partially. The 2 parking lots are directly located next to the house.
Shopping opportunities and a gas station are available within 1 km.
When it gets cold the wood to heat the tile oven is made available. Mild days will invite you to relax outside on your wooden deck or in the large garden, enjoying the fresh air of the Westerwald.
And - if you like to - you may watch the shooting stars and bats at night.

What a beautiful property.Really enjoyed are stay here.Everything so clean great house everything you need is there Close to store and very quiet. I Cant say enough about the owners great couple. Did not want to leave this beautiful place.5 stars all the way.If it is not booked get it you will love it.Just walking around the grounds is so peaceful.

We stayed in Kornbitz 2 for two and a half weeks in July 2023. Everything about the house is right, it is well equipped for self catering, nothing is missing & everything is clean, high quality and well designed. The pictures in the posting truthfully represent the house and the backyard.
The hosts are responsive, knowledgeable and all around nice people that really care about their guests.
The location is quiet and makes a great base for hiking the hilly Westerwald and making day trips to Koblenz, Frankfurt, Mosel & Rhine Valleys, Cologne & Bonn. There are many grocery stores and bakeries around. The excellent Birkenhof distillery is nearby too.

We had an unforgetable stay at villa Korbitz, the house is incredible clean. We had a very warm welcome with flowers and nice cakes in the kitchen. A very complete house
