About this house rental
About 8 km from Dicomano, this vacation home is located in a romantic side valley in the Mugello, on the edge of a small hamlet. You enter the kitchen-living room through the front garden and the terrace; the various bedrooms and bathrooms are adjacent. On the first floor guests can enjoy a covered terrace with table soccer. Above the house is the private sunny pool area (salt water) with sun loungers and umbrellas and with charming views of the little church opposite and into the small valley. This house is ideal for a group that likes to relax and exercise outdoors. On the large property there is a children's playground, table tennis a shady pergola and - a little further away - a whole playing field for ball games and kicking! Not enough: there are 6 mountain bikes waiting on site for sporty guests, because the area is perfect for trekking and biking through the nearby natural park of Casentino/Monte Falterona. There are small towns, medieval castles and monasteries to discover, including local specialties with porcini mushrooms, truffles and good sheep's cheese. The friendly owners live in the house next door and are happy to help and advise guests if needed. For a contrasting program, a trip to Florence is worthwhile: take the Mugello train, which departs from the nearby town of Dicomano. Along the special Muraglione road, popular with motorcyclists, you can reach the Adriatic coast: San Marino (about 2 hours) and Rimini (90 minutes). Or relax for a day in the thermal baths of Castrocaro (about 50 minutes by car). Dicomano with stores, pizzeria, bar 8 km.

I recently had the pleasure of staying in the mountains, and I can't express enough how wonderful the experience was. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted by incredibly nice and welcoming people who made me feel right at home. The level of hospitality was exceptional, with everyone going out of their way to be extremely helpful, ensuring that my stay was comfortable and enjoyable.
One of the highlights of my trip was discovering a fantastic pizzeria right next door. The food was absolutely delicious, with a great variety of mouth-watering pizzas to choose from. The combination of the cozy mountain atmosphere and the delightful culinary experience made every meal memorable.
Overall, my stay in the mountains was nothing short of amazing. The beautiful scenery, coupled with the warmth and kindness of the people, made it a trip to remember. I highly recommend this destination to anyone looking for a serene getaway with the added bonus of excellent hospitality and outstanding food options. I can't wait to return!
