Location is great. Close to many things to go do and see. Also very close to a general store so you don’t need to pack a bunch of food and bring it with you.
There needs to be some maintenance done on the property. Gates are falling apart and lots of tree debris that fell and was not cleared so backyard was a little hazardous if you bring small children.

What didn't we like. If this was for sale we'd buy it. It was perfect to celebrate our daughter's 50th. The whole family other than my husband and I camped at Big Trees but came up to the cabin for dinner on Saturday night to celebrate. They may rent it sometime also, the whole family was crazy about it.

It was very clean and everything we could possibly need had been planned for and was there. Perfect location for visiting the Giant Sequoias State Park, just up the road. Is also close to lots of shopping and dining locations in Murphy’s and Angels Camp. The cabin stayed warm during the night and the mattresses were very comfortable! We were immediately comfortable and enjoyed our stay at Bears Meadow.
Coating on frying pans is very old, scratched and rusty. Made breakfast with the one usable frying pan.
