This is a Mountain Cabin be prepared for any weather conditions.In the winter make sure to bring chains, or four wheel drive.We don't provide air conditioning in summer.We are not liable to refund money due to weather and outages such as PGE,Comcast, and cell towers.We are always open for switching your stay at a better time if severe conditions occur.Please note, while this is a very nice mountain cabin in the woods, it is not a 5 star hotel- pictures are accurate but we want to manage expectations.

We had a wonderful time even though there were a few issues. I advised the owner of the problems and he promised to rectify all right away. Very nice owner!

Four of us motorcycle riders from Arizona stayed at this beautiful location for four days. The garage was perfect for our needs (safe, secure, easy access). This was our home base and we took daily rides to places like Georgetown, Markleeville, Big Trees, Sonora and San Andreas. Grocery store and pizza parlor were nearby. The kitchen was a nice size and pretty well equipped. Did notice a few minor items that needed to be addressed, but the host was great and helpful. Would definitely recommend this home to others.

Quiet neighborhood. Loved the fresh mountain air. Family loved playing pool the entire time. Beautiful views from living room/kitchen. Beds are very comfortable. We were able to drive about 40 minutes to the snow one day and 20 minutes to get to Big Trees State Park another day. A prior poster mentioned inventorying the kitchen before shopping for meals, which I agree with. (Example - bring a can opener.) A few issues were raised and promptly addressed by Uday. Thank you for a lovely weekend!
