About this house rental
In the heart of the historic center of Saint Remy de Provence, Provencal house spacious and bright on 3 floors with a private courtyard of approximately 50m2 on the ground floor.
Ideally located in a quiet street in the city center and close to all shops, museums and art galleries, you can explore the city and its surroundings on foot or by bike.
The inner courtyard (not covered) offers a space zen, without opposite. It is furnished with a garden furniture and a table for 6 people with umbrella.
The house is on 3 floors and consists of 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, 2 living rooms, a kitchen and 3 separate toilets.
- On the ground floor: Large family room, kitchen opening onto the courtyard, WC.
- 1st floor: Bedroom 1 (courtyard side) with its bathroom (ensuite) and a large lounge / office, WC.
- 2nd floor: Bedroom 2 with 2 single beds (courtyard side), Bedroom 3 (street side), shower room, WC
Ideal house for holidays with family or friends. You will enjoy the weekly market on Wednesday mornings.
The property has no parking space, but it is possible to park a 5-minute walk to the free parking lot. Other possible parking: Jean-Jaurès (paying), next to the tourist office.
Bed linen and household linen are provided.
Cleaning is included.
The spacious bedroom on the second floor is equipped with a mobile air conditioning unit (Penguin type). There is no air conditioning in the other rooms.
Fans are available in all bedrooms, if required.
The thick stone walls help to keep the house cool during the summer, except during periods of extreme heat.

This house exceeded our expectations, which were high. The location is perfect, halfway down a short, mostly pedestrian street between the ring road and the central square that is the centerpiece of the Wednesday market. There are numerous restaurants within easy walking distance, as well as a bakery and pharmacy. A good grocery is also within walking distance. We were always able to find parking in one of the two city lots or on the ring road; the cost seemed to vary, but it was always less than many city hotels charge. It was quite hot while we were there, but the stone walls and fans kept us comfortable if we closed windows during the day. The courtyard is lovely, complete with cooing doves and a shy lizard. The kitchen is modern and well equipped. The house is tastefully decorated. The stairs may be a challenge for some, but the availability of a toilet room on the ground floor minimizes climbs. The owner greeted us with gifts when we arrived and returned for check out. He is friendly and helpful, probably more than I know because my French is poor. This place is a great find!!

My husband and I stayed at this beautiful home in the very heart of Saint-Rémy while he was writing a book and I was working evenings for my job in Los Angeles. This apartment felt like a fairytale—you hardly needed to leave, as simply being inside made you feel immersed in the beauty and spirit of Saint-Rémy itself.Everything about our stay was wonderful: the communication was seamless, the home was quiet, restful, and truly storybook. We can’t thank our hosts enough for their incredible hospitality. We hope to return one day and can’t recommend this special place highly enough.

My wife, sister, brother-in-law and I have just returned from a two-week stay at this lovely property. Everything about the visit was exceptional. Valerie, the friendly lady who let us in, was as helpful as she could be - we fairly easily over came our limited French and her limited English.
The house itself suited the four of us very well. My wife and I stayed on the top floor to minimize climbing for my sister and her husband. The weather was warmer than normal for this time of year, so we slept with windows open and used the very effective plug-in cooling unit. Completely comfortable throughout the stay.
The house was well-supplied with almost everything we could need. Because of the length of stay, we washed clothes pretty regularly. We were a bit concerned at first about the lack of a clothes dryer, but with the warm, dry weather, the foldable clothesline worked perfectly well for us.
Other than simple "petit dejeuner," we did only limited cooking, but everything we could possibly want in the kitchen was right there. It was especially nice enjoying our breakfasts, most lunches and evening "apero" in the lovely little courtyard in the back.
The only convenience I might suggest adding would be a bureau or chest of drawers in the large bedroom upstairs, perhaps one like the downstairs bedroom.
Finally the location was superb - a short, lovely walk to everything. Enjoyed meeting the neighbors, too.

Spacious with good amenities. The only drawback is that the 2nd bedroom is on the 3rd floor with quite a few steps.
Both bathrooms are large but not en-suite.
