About this house rental
Located opposite the Alpilles natural park and a 10-minute walk from the historic center of Saint-Rémy-de-Provence, our authentic Provencal farmhouse welcomes you in the middle of its private plot of 3,000 m2 and its 63 olive trees.
Offering the typical charm of Provence and a breathtaking view of the Alpilles, this place is ideal for spending your holidays in an exceptional setting.
The Mas, with an area of 110 m2, can accommodate 6 people and consists of:
* On the ground floor :
-A living / dining room -A fully equipped kitchen (ceramic hob, oven, dishwasher, Nespresso coffee machine, etc.)
-From 2 double bedrooms (+ 1 extra bedroom for 1 person)
-A bathroom with separate WC
-A garage
* First floor :
-A parental suite with its shower room, its WC, and its superb view of the Alpilles as a bonus.
Outside, you will enjoy a calm disturbed only by the song of the cicadas, on a shaded terrace or around the swimming pool with everything necessary for a successful holiday (deckchair, parasol, outdoor table for 8 people, barbecue, hammock, pétanque balls ...).

Linen provided: a large towel and a small towel per person. Towels for shower use only.
Pool towels are not provided; please bring your own.
Cleaning (cleaning of floors, bathrooms and toilets, preparation of beds) is included in the price.

We had a great stay in a very nice villa: close enough to walk to St Remy and plenty of space outside to feel alone & enjoy the swimming pool. The landlords have been very welcoming as well!

We felt very well in this villa. It has a beautiful living room with a double door that opens to the garden. The air conditioning works well and the feel of the interior, including the beds, is pleasantly relaxing.
The garden is quite thematic: filled with olives planted at regular intervals and crickets that resonate just as much. I liked this duo-culture as a reminder of the local climate and history.
We found enough space to park and just enough to turn with an old, already scratched minivan. Plenty of shade at all times of day.
The pool is located at the opposite side from the entrance door so you’ll need supervision if you have children. The pool is well fenced though.
The owners have chosen a great agent: kind and helpful in all matters and stayed in touch throughout the stay.
We were glad to discover the area:
Saint-Rémy-de-Provence is a beautiful, historical town where Van Gogh painted the Starry Night. It has an all-wood playground and a M-star female chef Fanny Rey.
Les Beaux-de-P.ce has a Roman-medieval village / fortification that makes for a swift hike, and a 3 M-star restaurant in the valley.
Massage-les-Alpilles has some of the most delicious cheeses, pastries and fruits we’ve had all trip. A nice break from the touristy Avignon.

We spent almost a week here in late May. Our host was incredibly friendly, helpful and responsive. When we arrived we were met at the house by the lovely Paquita, who showed us around the house, which was beautifully clean and very well equipped. It looked exactly as it appeared in the photographs, surrounded by olive trees and with a lovely swimming pool. The location was perfect for us as we could walk into the village (about 20 minute walk), or to the Roman ruins of Glanum which are very impressive. There are lovely walks and hikes around the lake which you can reach easily by foot. We would love to return in April to see the Irises in bloom and later in June for the Lavender. In May the poppy fields were in full bloom and the scent of Jasmine filled the air. Perfect.

Absolutely lovely stay. The area is very beautiful and quiet yet less than 15 min walk into the centre of St Remy. The house was very clean and communication was excellent. Highly recommend.
