Perfect retreat for two people. The Boathouse has been refurbished to a very high standard throughout. Light and airy with exposed beams, oak flooring and high spec kitchen and shower room. It has been thoughtfully designed and well equipped for a comfortable, relaxed break. Private patio overlooking exotic plant garden and views through to the estuary. Off-street parking. Just under 1 mile from Kingsbridge town centre, a thriving market town with picturesque quay, character high street, two supermarkets and market square. The very popular Crabshell Inn pub is situated right on the Quay and only 8 minutes walk away along the estuary. The popular tourist destinations of Salcombe, Dartmouth and Totnes are only 15-30 minutes drive away. Our nearest beach, South Milton, is beautiful and only a 15 minute drive away, while the coastal walks on offer are spectacular. Weekly bookings (Saturday to Saturday) May to the end of September . Short stays (3 night minimum) available at all other times.

The Boathouse lived up to our expectations. Compact, but with everything you need including a large double bed, lots of storage space and appliances and equipment of excellent quality. It felt private with our own little terrace. A great week’s stay! Thank you

AMENITIES WERE GOOD.BUT WE FOUND TRAFFIC NOISE AND NOISE FROM NEARBY ROOKERY INTRUSIVE, ESPECIALLY WHEN SITTING AT THE GARDEN TABLE.
