About this house rental
Kingfisher Cottage, Coastal and family friendly. Forty minutes from Kerikeri, just north of the Bay of Islands.
Tucked into a native kiwi-zone ( yes we hear them most nights). Watch the sunrise over the bay from the comfort of your superking bed or relax on the outdoor furniture.. Lovely indoor/outdoor living with large sliding doors opening onto an expansive deck. This character filled cottage has - freeview satellite tv, wifi, microwave, dishwasher etc., plus a well stocked bookcase and plenty of boardgames and childrens toys.
Many beautiful safe sandy beaches close by (5min) and great boat launching within easy reach. Excellent diving and fishing all minutes away. Whangaroa Harbour is just over the hill and Kauri Cliffs Golf course 20 minutes down the road, also handy to Whangaroa Golf course. Kerikeri 40 minutes away with excellent amenities - restaurants, cafes, great shopping, two large supermarkets, movie theatre, airport etc.
Dive the Rainbow Warrior wreck at Cavalli Islands (within sight of the cottage), take an easy day trip to Cape Reinga or have an evening meal at the famous Mangonui Fishshop over the water at Mangonui.
Special conditions:
Ask about long stay cheap winter rates, between June - October.
Summer rates -$200 per night for 4 people, up to 6 people an extra $30 per person per night.
Minimum 2 night stay

Was a lovely little cottage, had everything needed and was clean and tidy. For a weekend away with kids it was well equipped with toys and activities to entertain them. Lovely in peaceful with a view.

The cottage was perfect. Stunning location with beautiful views and garden. The house was immaculate with everything we needed. Lovely hosts who very kindly agreed to mail some items that we left in the house. I highly recommend this property.

We stayed for 5 nights. honestly it was FAB. Bach was so clean and welcoming.. views were awesome and Mandee was super helpful. I could just stay at Bach for rest of my life... peaceful. You will find everything you need in the kitchen... bathroom... bedrooms and lounge. Don't need to load your vehicle with half of the household stuff like we did lol....well we were overly prepared after our last experience. ... definitely going back. Roselyn
