About this cabin rental
Chubby Bear Retreat is a spacious real wood log cabin that sleeps 8 adults and up to two children. Located in The Preserve Resort. This cozy cabin can be a used as a couples getaway or it can easily accommodate a large family. Enjoy cool mountain mornings and spectacular vhiuiews while rocking away on the outdoor deck, or you can also enjoy soaking in the hot tub. Chubby Bear is located close to Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge which have everything to keep you busy and the kids happy. During winter months it is recommended to have 4 wheel drive. The roads to the cabin are steep and winding however they are all paved.
When you arrive at Chubby Bear, you can enter the cabin with the convenient keyless entry. The fully equipped modern kitchen has stainless steel appliances and is ready to be utilized for full meal preparation. Start your day with a fresh cup of coffee from the 12 cup coffee maker or Keurig. Take your coffee out onto the deck to enjoy the spectacular mountain views. You can also join the family for the big game on the 50 inch flat screen TV with all local channels. Complimentary high speed internet is available for use in planning your next days adventures, streaming the latest blockbusters, or catching up on your favorite teams scores.
The master suite is located on the first floor and features a TV and a king size bed with a private full bath. The living room is appointed with leather couches and pull out sleeper sofa. Upstairs is a shared open space and you will enjoy a comfortable queen bed with an ultra-luxurious copper-infused memory foam mattress and a full bathroom. Guests can also soak their day away in the Jacuzzi tub with massaging jets. An additional pull out sleeper sofa is provided, as well as a wonderful hideaway loft for kids overlooking the second floor.
Vacation is not complete without a little competition. Challenge each other on the foosball table, or play a game of pool while enjoying the panoramic views provided by the large upstairs windows.
After your busy day, you can relax on the deck and enjoy relaxing in the hot tub sipping on your favorite beverage. Chubby Bear Retreat is located on a picturesque mountain ridge overlooking beautiful Wears Valley. The retreat is easily accessed via wide paved roads. Pigeon Forge Parkway is 15 miles from the cabin and will provide easy access to all of the local attractions including the world-famous Dollywood and Dollywood’s Splash Country. The Chubby Bear Retreat was a very nice cabin and inside shown in pictures is exactly as is, but did not realize cabins were so close together because the one outside picture looked like there was more spacing between. The cabin was clean, but I am super obsessive about clean and there were a couple of sticky spots on door handles and bench upon arrival. You could spend a day or two just hanging around the cabin enjoying the view! The kids loved that the cabin had a pool and foosball table. They learned how to play on our visit. Overall, we enjoyed our stay very much and would definitely recommend to others. Great view and very relaxing!

Miss informed about the property, it had plumbing issues the entire time we was there and was informed about Dolly wood being closed but not about everything else that was going on around the cabin and how it really was and as we shouldn't of paid as much as we had to with the situation at hand
