About this house rental
Cute lakefront cottage directly facing Chautauqua Lake with incredible views. This cottage features a lake front deck with grill and deck furniture for eating outside or just relaxing. A back porch faces a private drive with parking for 2 cars. Accommodations can be made for parking a boat trailer. The cottage has 2 bedrooms with ceiling fans, one full bath with a tub shower, a living room with ceiling fans and space heater for cooler nights, a dining room, and a kitchen with a dishwasher. There is a sun room directly off the front porch with a couch and chairs to enhance your enjoyment of the lake views. Lake Chautauqua is directly out your front door and is perfect for boating, tubing, kayaking, fishing, water skiing and any other water sport you enjoy! A boat dock allows you to bring your own boat or rent one from an area marina just doors away. There is plenty of room on the lawn for corn hole, horse shoes, bocce ball, etc. Great neighborhood, with great neighbors who are very friendly, accommodating and willing to help with anything you need. Fresh bedspreads/duvets and pillows are provided. Guests should bring all bath and beach towels, as well as sheets for: (1) Queen bed and (2) double beds Interaction with guests by phone, text and email anytime, with an emergency contact available nearby. We are happy to make recommendations for restaurants, yoga, coffee shops, water craft rentals that include paddle boards and kayaks!! This great cottage is close to many amenities: Grocery Stores (Wegmans, Tops Markets, Sav-A-Lot, Aldi, Walmart, Kmart), Coffee Shops (Tim Hortons, Starbucks, Wired), Fast food (McDonalds, Arby's, Burger King, Wendy's), Full service restaurants (La Scala, Forte, Landmark, The Fish, EBC - Chautauqua, The Village Casino, See-Zuhr House, Applebees, Red Lobster, etc.), Home Depot, Drugstores (CVS, Rite Aid, Walgreen) and Shopping Centers (Chautauqua Mall and TJ Maxx plaza), Liquor stores-(The Bag and String wine shop), Theatres (Lakewood Cinema 8, Reg Lena Theatre), and Parks (Chautauqua YMCA Parks - Ellery Town Park, Lucille Ball Memorial Park, Long Point State Park, Midway State Park, McCrae Point Park and Public Boat Launch, and Panama Rocks Scenic Park). We have stayed at many VRBO’s and have always been happy. This one was no exception. The view of the lake was visible and beautiful from the time you opened your eyes until the day ended.The home was warm and comfortable, and the accommodations were comfortable. A good time was had by all and if circumstances provide, we will certainly try for a week next year. A warm thanks to the owners who were very accommodating.

We had a great time and the weather for our week was the most beautiful. Unfortunately for us, because it was great weather this summer we didn't swim as the seaweed growth was abundant and made the water somewhat uninviting. Although they do have a crew of college kids that come around and hauls a lot of the weeds away, which was nice to see. We did find things to do out of the water and rented a boat. Overall, Mr. Turner was a great host, greeted us upon arrival and was very responsive when we ran out of gas for the grill (our only issue).

Just what I was looking for, laid back, peaceful, and relaxing. The hosts were next door and very friendly and accommodating. It was just a short boatride to the lakeside restaurants on Bemus Point. The view was fantastic and had amazing sunsets.

Other than the fact that the kitchen is very small and no room for the storage of any groceries it was great. Owner was very accommodating and patient with our puppy! Thanks you for a great time!
