Bij de aankomst was niemand aanwezig die de poort kon openen. Ondanks dat wij ruim een uur van te voren hadden doorgegeven hoe laat wij er zouden zijn. Moesten vier extra rondjes door de stad rijden voordat er iemand kwam om ons de poort binnen te laten. Huisje was zeer zeer klein en rook muf en was zeer vochtig. Ventileren hielp niet. Verder zou er badlinnen zijn. Ja 1badhanddoek,1kleine handdoek en 1gasten doekje per persoon voor een hele week. Belachelijk. Diverse keren moeten bellen zodat we Wi-Fi hadden. Maar wel al moeten betalen. Verder een belachelijke prijs voor schoonmaakkosten. 60euro voor 2 ruimtes van 4bij3.5 meter. Bleef koud en vochtig en het hok. De omgeving was prachtig en alles makkelijk bereikbaar. Ook de weg naar de stranden enz. Prima en kort bij. Wat ons betreft is deze accommodatie een grote misser van Belvilla. Wij raden mensen met luchtwegen problemen niet aan om dit te boeken. Het enige wat ons opviel was dat schoon was. Verder zaten er zwarte spikkels op de kussens van het vocht.

Accommodatie is klein knus maar heeft alle benodigdheden. Enorm leuk middenin Bayeux en toch het gevoel dat je je ergens heel afgelegen begeeft!

We had stayed here 4 years ago and decided on it again because of its wonderful central location and secure parking. It really is a little oasis in the centre of the town. It is very small (which we knew) but nevertheless there is a large comfortable bed in the one small bedroom. However, nothing had been upgraded since our last visit and the fittings and fixtures, especially on the ground floor, are cheap (e.g. faded unlined curtains, flat pack type furniture) and the sofa is now way past its 'sell by date' and is small, saggy and uncomfortable and, and in our view, should urgently be replaced with something larger and more comfortable, especially as it's the only soft seating available. There is a television but only French channels available and in this day and age this is hardly acceptable. Also if you want to do anything other than the most basic of cooking you will be disappointed as there is only a small cheap microwave and a 2 (solid) ring electric hob and very limited cutlery, crockery and cookware. The cooking area - it can't really be classed as a kitchen as such - frustratingly with a bit of thought and outlay could, with some re-jigging, be able to accommodate a small oven and be much improved. Finally, be aware that there are numerous extras over and above the basic rental price including cleaning (extortionate for the size of the place), WiFi and bed linen (and there is no option to bring your own linen). We came away this time thinking it was a bit of a rip-off. We also had some problems with the electric gates which you need to be much nearer than you think to open.
