L'Arrozoir du Jardin Botanique

Location was good. Quiet neighborhood with a small grocery store within walking distance. Appreciated having a washing machine and drying rack since there wasn't a dryer.

We had to walk a bit to the main area of Bayeux, a little over a mile - but definitely walkable. There was only one roll of toilet paper for three people for a three day stay and no paper towels. There were also no dish towels which made cleaning dishes a bit challenging. It would be helpful to have hooks in the bathroom to hang towels. We had no where to hang three towels with the exception of a heating rack (which wasn't big enough to hold all of the towels) or the hand towels by the sink. The description should probably mention that their are stairs leading up to the main living area. Not a problem for us, but maybe for others with mobility issues.

The owner was outside when we arrived and so very welcoming and helpful

Très beau loft spacieux et très bien situé dans Bayeux ! Nous avons apprécié le calme ! L’état de propreté impeccable ! La literie très confortable avec le lit fait à l’arrivée … et une petite bouteille de cidre offerte pour nous accueillir ! Quant aux propriétaires , rien à dire , ils ont été très réactifs à chaque message ! Nous recommandons +++

Seul petit bémol qui nous a un peu gêné , il n’y a pas de volet dans la chambre et les rideaux n’occultent pas parfaitement la lumière du jour d’où un réveil très matinal … du coup, le positif, cela nous a permis aussi de profiter plus tôt que prévu et à fond des visites planifiées!!!

Clean and well located

I booked the stay with a large double bed and a double bed, when we arrived we were met with a large double bed and a sofa bed, we went out and returned at 11pm , when we went to make up the sofa bed we discovered there was no linen for the bed , we messaged and rang the host but got no response, the next morning the host stated that we would have had to pay extra for the linen for the second bed even though I had booked the two beds. The host tried to say it was strange that a booking would be made for 2 people with separate beds but I have travelled with my friends on numerous occasions and were never expected to share a bed beforehand and always book separate beds.
