Superb location, with convenience of private parking (at a fee). Very compact apartment, modern and clean, with well equipped kitchenette. Sufficient for a short stay of 2 couples, if prepared to share a bathroom. Lovely view from the bedrooms.

1. Although the accommodation and address determine the experience, so do the communication and attitude of the host - and unfortunately in our case these detracted. More than 10 of my questions/attempts to communicate (over several weeks) with the host were unanswered - through both the booking.com messaging and whats app. 2. The damage deposit, although disclosed in the terms, is excessive. And the fact that it is required in cash is astonishing - particularly inconvenient for foreign guests at the end of their European visit. Had we been able to get a reply from the host, I'm sure a mutually agreeable alternative could have been arranged, which would have left us with a more favorable memory of this stay. 3. A few minor issues relating to the facilities during the stay were met with a terse 'read the instruction file'. The issues were ultimately sorted out, but again the attitude was wanting. A pity, as this is a special spot on the map! (Edit: Subsequent private correspondence followed the host's irate response here, in which I calmly substantiated each of my comments. I take from his subsequent reply to me that we have reached an understanding. Candid reviews are intended for the overall improvement of service and customer satisfaction, rather than as a personal attack.

Very nice cosy duplex. You can tell the owner had put effort in to make sure you have everything you need Olivier was very helpful

I would get some more pillows and maybe a good topper for the beds as I prefer a more softer bed. We would stay again though.

Very friendly host, great location (also when travelling with public transportation!), quiet, spacious.

Good location in a quiet area close to the centre of the town.

We have been asked by the host to pay in addition to the fixed price of the stay, 10 EUR per person... for what? Linen and pillows. "If you would like to use this stuff..." We laughed but we paid. Next time we shall be equipped with foldable beds too...
