Giuseppe is one of a kind and this is his passion and his home. He aims to provide the best experience and goes above and beyond any host I've ever had. An aperitivo on check-in, making sure we were well taken care of, and catching up in the evenings.
Please only book this place if you want to have a truly authentic Italian experience, are open to receiving and giving appreciation, and can appreciate the effort into the beautiful house he has crafted.

Giuseppe was one of the kindest and liveliest hosts we’ve had on the trip. His place was conveniently located and everything was comfortable. We loved our stay!

Giuseppe was great host and helped me get from and to the airport stress free.
Room and bathroom were impeccably clean and quiet at night.
Location was great, only 20 min walk to Duomo, supermarket nearby and in general safe street ( me walking alone as female at night felt safe there).
Highly recommend if you want something off centre and quiet but still can reach it easily either by tram or walk.

This is a homestay on the ground floor of a Palazzo located one mile from the Duomo. The room was very clean and the property has been renovated, although the decor is pretty classic Giuseppe, the host, is friendly. It's in a quiet neighbourhood. The bed was comfortable and the room was well-equipped.
While I acknowledge that Florence's hotel and lodging market is quite expensive, I feel like this property is overpriced for its offers. Although everything was fair and in order, this room in a homestay is priced like a 4-star hotel in other places. Although it had a bathroom in the room, I could barely move in the shower space. No breakfast, either in the facility or as a deal offer somewhere close. Since it's on the ground floor and facing the inside of the building, there's not a lot of natural light or any kind of view. IMO, for the money, you'd probably be better off in an Airbnb.
