About this house rental
Casa Afra is a rustic that has been recently renewed with fine decorations. It has 2 floors, an external garden with barbecue corner, ping pong table, terrace, large living room, large dining room with fireplace, and a brand new fully equipped kitchen. On the second floor there is bathroom with shower box, a twin bedroom (beds can be joined), single bedroom and large main double bedroom with stunning view. Maximum sleeps is for 5 guest and a baby (baby bed is available on request). The tap water is drinkable and tastes super, so no need to buy and carry lots of bottled water.

The house is situated high in the mountains. Go there over small streets. Beautiful environment. Peacefull and silent stay. Also a place from where you can visit a lot of other places. Altough other places seems not far, it’s always longer driving because of all the circles around the mountains. To come somewhere take more time. Overall a beautiful and good place with friendly owners.

Wir wurden sehr herzlich willkommen geheißen mit erfrischenden Getränken und eigenen Aprikosen und Oliven. Haus und Garten bieten zahlreiche Orte zum Ausruhen und Entspannen. Die Küchenausstattung ist sehr gut (auch Putzmittel, Tücher ...) und ebenso Handtücher und Bettwäsche sind reichlich vorhanden. Direkt vom Haus aus kann man einen Spaziergang machen über eine schattige, ruhige Straße. Ein gutes Restaurant - La Collins - ist in 8 Minuten zu Fuß erreichbar.
Die 3 Vermieter Andrea, Giacomo und Paolo waren äußerst hilfsbereit und haben uns tolle Ausflugs- und Restauranttipps gegeben. Vielen Dank - wir haben uns sehr willkommen gefühlt!

Die Lage: das Haus liegt in einem kleinen Weiler in den Hügeln etwas nördlich von Lucca. Lucca und Pisa sind mit dem Auto schnell erreicht und auch Florenz ist nur eine gute Stunde entfernt. Zu den herrlichen Mittelmeerstränden fährt man lediglich 45 Minuten. Wanderwege sind direkt vom Haus aus oder nach ein paar Minuten Fahrt zu erreichen. Einer dieser Wege bot wunderbare Ausblicke auf die Berge und das Mittelmeer. Drei Restaurants befinden sich in unmittelbarer Nähe, der nächste örtliche Supermarkt ist ca. 6km entfernt.
Das Haus: das Haus selbst bietet alles, was man für einen Urlaub benötigt. Das Wohnzimmer ist hell und freundlich und gewährt einen wunderbaren Blick auf die Hügel, ebenso dass große Schlafzimmer. Im Freien stehen zwei Tische auf der Terrasse zur Verfügung, wovon einer praktischer Weise überdacht ist. Im Garten gibt es neben Sitz- und Liegemöbeln eine Hängematte und einen Tischtennistisch.
Die Vermieter: die Vermieter sind sehr freundlich und äußerst hilfsbereit; sie versorgen einen mit guten Tipps und Ratschlägen. Auf unsere Anfragen vor und während des Aufenthalts erhielten wir jeweils innerhalb von ein paar Minuten die entsprechenden Antworten.
Zusammenfassung: unser Aufenthalt im September war einfach wunderbar und erholsam. Es hat uns so gut gefallen, dass wir nächstes Jahr wieder einen Urlaub dort verbringen möchten. Das Haus ist eine absolute Empfehlung.

Very nice, spacious and charming cityhouse. We were very welcomed by one og the hosts and given an introduction to the house and the environment including suggestions to beaches and restaurants. Questions before and during the stay were promptly replied by the host. Wonderful Lucca and the sandy beaches at Via Reggio are around a half an hour drive away. Casa Afra is a great place to stay for a vacation
