We arrived at Porsenna after travelling around Europe for 6 weeks. The moment we drove down the drive and saw the villa and surrounding area we instantly felt relaxed. The hosts meet us to show us around the villa and to explain how everything worked. They were very welcoming and also available throughout our stay to answer questions and to resolve any unforeseen issues. The villa had all the essentials for a relaxing stay and the breakfast supplies were plentiful. We ate mostly on the terrace to enjoy the view.
The villa is situated in a fantastic position and only 5 minutes walk to the historic town of Chiusi, where you can wander the streets and enjoy great food and wine, visit the local museum or try your hand at making ceramics. The villa is also only a 30-minute or so drive to other local towns that we enjoyed exploring. We especially enjoyed the pasta cooking class. During our stay we also got to experience the annual Chiusi grape and wine festival.
The mosquitos which we resolved with repellant.
Note: the steps from the living area to the bedrooms are quite steep with no handrail so not the best if you have mobility issues, but good excuse to hold hands.

Great location with plenty of good restaurants just around the corner. The owner was very kind and helpful and the house and garden were beautifully maintained. We had a fantastic week!

Cosy villa next a cute italian city of Chiusi. Placed in a beautiful valley - far enough from city to be quiet, peaceful and in nature - close enough to walk to the old town of Chiusi every evening.
Wonderful views from the terrece (and bathroom!), spectacular garden. Best place to relax I was ever in.

Die Lage des Hauses ist toll. 5 Gehminuten in die Altstadt von Chiusi, aber völlig im Grünen und sehr ruhig. Schöner Garten, tolle Terrasse. Die Wohnung ist gross, modern und sehr gut ausgestattet. Die Klimaanlage funktioniert gut. Das Bett war sehr bequem. Die Zufahrt kann für sehr große Autos eventuell etwas eng werden.
Wir hatten Probleme, die mit den Straßen -Arbeitern zusammenhingen, aber Nicola und Nives, die uns betreut haben, waren super hilfreich und sehr sehr nett und immer erreichbar! Danke nochmals !
In Chiusi gibt es einige tolle Restaurants und auch im nahen Umfeld ( ca 10 Minuten mit dem Auto) haben wir toll gegessen! Italienisches Frühstück haben wir uns fast täglich in der Bar Centrale in Chiusi gegönnt - lecker und herrlich untouristisch!
Wir hoffen, wieder zu kommen!
