Boasting an elevated setting overlooking Cadenabbia, this modern detached Tuscan-style villa offers pure holiday escapism and a prime Central Lake setting for carefree Lake Como breaks!
The 6-bedroom, 5-bathroom villa oozes exclusivity and home comfort in equal measures; with main villa WIFI-enabled and offering a selection of lovely entertainment areas, lake view vistas and splendid private outdoor pool to enjoy.
The extensive accommodation can accomodate a maximum of 12 persons and is laid out across 3 principal buildings of the private villa complex, known as the ‘Villa’, the ‘Hermitage’ and ‘Casetta’.
To the fully air-conditioned main house (known as the Villa) families and friends can easily wine and dine their stay away, with a fully-equipped Kitchen Diner accompanying alfresco entertaining BBQ opportunities. Complemented by optional private chef hire and proximity to the restaurants and wine bars of Tremezzina, the villa offers the perfect solution for those seeking a varied and enjoyable self-catering stay.
The Villa’s chic and inviting living room is complemented by a plush contemporary sofa suite, a SAT TV, in-house WIFI and outside access.
Sleeping groups of up to 5, the main Villa features 3 lake view bedrooms (3 of which offer terrace access); and comprising of 2 Twin Joinable bedrooms, one Twin Joinable bedrooms and one Single bedroom. One main family bathroom suite is accompanied by two further contemporary shower rooms.
To the Hermitage, two guests or a couple can easily unwind; with a Twin Joinable bedroom with two cooling fans, a fridge and terrace access featuring alongside a private bathroom with shower.
The other portion of the villa complex, known as ‘Casetta’ provides a great space for visiting families; being equipped with a small Living room, a Kitchenette with only a microwave and fridge, a Twin Joinable lake view bedroom, a lake view child’s bedroom with twin joinable beds above one another (both bedrooms has a ventilator) and a modern family bathroom with bath tub.

The villa’s main Kitchen is fully-equipped with an oven, cooker hob, toaster, microwave, kettle, coffee machine, fridge and dishwasher.
The stylish separate dining area for 10 is accompanied by a second covered dining terrace with open portico windows and an informal alfresco sitting/dining area
In all, the modern detached villa features 18 internal steps and 10 external steps. The villa benefits from a washing machine and ironing facilities alongside air-conditioning and in-house WIFI.
The private landscaped garden oozes Italian romance and sophistication, with mature cypress trees and a lake view vista on hand to set a magical ambience for holiday enjoyment. The beautiful garden haven easily enables guests to switch off, relax, dine the night away with an alfresco BBQ or star-lit dinner party, entertain at the chic outdoor sitting area, run around on the expansive lawns or make a splash in the secluded, unheated, private pool.

The villa was a perfect spot for a family of 10 people. Very well maintained and upgraded. Only downside was the construction noise on the hotel below with a crane in front but it will be gone hopefully someday soon.

We arrived in early June for a week's stay at Villa San Michele. The villa easily accommodated 9 for the stay with the large property. The kitchen accommodated a chef for the week and had all the kitchen equipment needed to cook for a large group. The pool was chilly but, on warm days, very refreshing. As others have mentioned, the property has many stairs, which were challenging for our older guests, but they could stay in the main building, eliminating the need to walk up and down stairs. Any questions we had for the property management we were able to communicate and have answers very quickly. We happily recommend a stay at the Villa for all groups.

This villa is paradise. We had eight people and the bedrooms and accommodations are spread out and planned so well that there were both privacy for each to have their own bedroom and multiple areas, both indoor and out, to be together.
The kitchen was sufficient for two chefs to come and make dinner one evening with some of us helping prepare some of the meal. There is a fabulous eating area outside that is protected from the elements and has a wonderful ambience. We had multiple long dinners there and also coffee in the morning.
The pool was delightful. The terrace on the roof of the building situated at the top of the property gave fantastic views and was great for a couple of cocktail hours.
The road up to the villa from the main road is definitely a Hill, but it curves around and was not too much for anyone in our group. The steepest hill was the driveway itself, and while it could be challenging for someone who is not in shape at all, it should not be a problem for anyone who gets any kind of regular exercise like walking.
We were glad to have easy access to the ferry over to Bellagio and some of the other towns, but not be in the midst of all of the tourists.
The views from the Villa continuously take one’s breath away. Unfortunately, there is construction occurring down the hill that requires a big crane. The only negative about our stay was having that crane in our line of sight every time we looked north. The overall beauty carried the day, however.

Great view of Como!!!!
Beautiful view of Bellagio and Lake Como. The walk to town and the driveway were very steep and difficult for older people and kids. There were also lots a steps once you get to the driveway...this was a challenge for my 80 year old parents.Kitchen had almost everything we needed and the town was close with a charming market. Yard was big and lovely. Many areas to sit and enjoy the view and weather.
