About this villa rental
Villa Marilia is a maisonette style traditional Villa with two bedrooms and a private pool, the northest of the two Villas Mamel. Located in the traditional village of Pagalohori, next to Sfakaki and Asteri, villa Marilia is located 11 km east from the picturesque town of Rethymno.
A spacious open plan living room with two Cretan sofas, a dining table and a fully equipped kitchen, as well as a bathroom with shower and a washing machine are offered on the ground floor. A spiral staircase leads to the first floor, where 2 bedrooms and a further common bathroom with bath-tub are provided. The master bedroom has a double bed and TV, and the second bedroom offers two single beds.
Both bedrooms and living area offer air-conditioning and balconies with mountain views. Outside, a 40 sqm private swimming pool is offered. It is surrounded by a stone terrace and a beautiful, lush green garden, with sun chairs and umbrellas. A stone barbecue is also available.
Please also note that pool towels are provided.
One tavern and one mini market can be found about 1500 meters away. A car rental is suggested to explore the nearby sandy beaches and the town of Rethymno.

Wir haben den Aufenthalt in der Villa Marilia sehr genossen . Die Villa ermöglicht eine für uns angemessene Privatsphäre. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und die Stadt Rethymnon sind mit Auto gut erreichbar. Kontakt zu den Vermietern war sehr freundlich und sie waren stets bemüht bei Anliegen zu helfen.

Wir (2 Erwachsene - auch 4 wären kein Problem gewesen) hatten die Villa für 11 Nächte im September gebucht und waren sehr zufrieden.
Die Villa ist mit Allem ausgestattet, was man für einen Urlaub benötigt. Besonders gut haben uns der Pool, der mehrmals wöchentlich geprüft und gesäubert wird, als auch der großzügige Grill gefallen, der mehrmals genutzt wurde. Die Villa ist sehr schön eingerichtet und alle Räume sind klimatisiert.
Die Lage ist eher ruhig, abseits des Massentourismus - genau das, was wir gesucht haben. Fußläufig sind eine Taverne und ein Supermarkt gut erreichbar.
Mit dem Auto ist man in ein paar Minuten in Rethymno, der nächsten größeren Stadt, als perfekte Ausgangslage Kreta nach Osten, Westen und der Straße in den Süden zu erkunden, um größere Einkäufe zu tätigen oder gut am alten Hafen fisch zu essen oder ein Boot zu mieten.
Sowohl der Kontakt zu der Agentur als auch der Kontakt zu den Besitzern ist sehr freundlich und hilfreich zugleich.
Wir können die Villa Marilia uneingeschränkt empfehlen.

Das Haus ist sauber, gepflegt und gemütlich. Das Gebäde ist recht gut isoliert und es lässt sich auch gut in der Hitze aushalten. Klimagerät gibt es in allen Räumen. Die Räume sind großzügig, vom Balkon kann man schon das Meer sehen.
Die Ausstattung der Küche ist zweckmäßig, aber ausreichend. Es gibt einen TV Gerät im Wohnzimmer, allerdings zurzeit nur mit griechischen Kanälen.
Die Lage ist ruhig, allerdings wird man von den Zikaden geweckt.
Es wurde mehrfach geputzt und Bettwäsche gewechselt. Die Betreuung von der Agentur war sehr professionell und efektiv. Die fehlenden Poolhandtücher wurden innerhalb von 10 Minuten gebracht.
Um Einkäufe zu erledigen ist ein Auto notwendig. Ein kleiner Markt ist etwa 1,5 km entfernt. Zum großen Lidl braucht man etwa 10-15 Minuten Fahrzeit. Zum schönen Strand muss man ein Paar Minuten fahren. Strände sind gepflegt, es gibt guten Service am Strand. 2 Liegen und Schirm kosten 5 Euro. In dem Preis ist auch WLAN und Nutzung des Pools ein Paar Meter weiter inbegriffen.
Alles in einem ein tolles Haus für einen gelungenen Urlaub. Wir werden auf jeden Fall nochmal kommen.
