Friendly staff and clean hotel, although some updating required. Overall a very pleasant stay. Set in lovely grounds and very peaceful, would definitely stay again.

All in all a very disappointing for the price point. The hotel needs new carpets throughout the hotel including all corridors, bar, communal areas and bedrooms. There were many bad odours throughout the hotel and a particularly bad smells within room 16 where we stayed. We pulled out a blanket from the wardrobe and this smelt so bad of stale curry we immediately put it back. The pool and changing rooms were not appealing at all and this was the main reason we booked the hotel. My husband and I decided not to swim as this looked as if it was just neglected. We enjoyed the breakfast and the staff were really good especially at reception. Unfortunately we would never stay there again and we would not recommend this hotel to friends and family unless there was a major refurbishment. To end this review the piano that plays itself seems to be a little tacky and I am not sure what this brings to the hotel. I would imagine the poor bar staff would like to shut the doors as this does not bring any tranquility to the bar environment. My husband and I literally walked out of the bar after the first drink as it was so annoying.
