Nice Hotel, facilities & location very good. The only thing that let the stay down was the rude, miserable receptionist. Other staff, such as the bar staff, were very welcoming and friendly, so it’s a shame about reception- they are the face of the business, and 1st point of contact- maybe some training on customer relations should be given.

Thought with a name like Wald (forest) Hotel in a Black Forest town it would be in an amazing location but sadly its just in the outskirts of town. Very basic room with not even water supplied. Some excellent staff though. Food and facilities OK but didn't live up to the other rave reviews
