Special shout out to Kath, who went above and beyond in every way imaginable during my stay. I asked for some simple directions to the bus on my way in the morning and ended up with a revised itinerary for the next two days that PERFECTLY suited my needs. Honestly, I had a vision of what a “quintessential” northern Wales trip could look like in November and the tips Kath gave to me turned that vision into a reality and then some! When I come back to Wales with my wife, we will 100% be staying here again, mostly thanks to the incredible service Kath provided that day and the next evening as well!
Pros:
* Everything about The New Alexandra was incredibly affordable compared to the rest of Llandudno
* The room was a very good size and had an incredible view of the picturesque church across the street
* Free WiFi
* The bar/restaurant is cheap and the food is solid!
* Great “local vibes” at night in the bar
* THE STAFF!!!
Cons:
* The building is a bit dated, so it’s probably due for some upgrades here and there
* I had a heck of a time getting the water temperature right in the shower (usually too hot, which is better than too cold I suppose)

Definitely not the best hotel in Llandudno , but certainly not the worst either. Good budget price for one nights stay away from home for work.
