Based on my last booking at this hotel I booked again - a few days after my beloved Nan passed away to get some change and also pushed my mother to come along. Due to the sensitivity of this time we are staying together and as this was permitted last time I booked this hotel on that premise. Upon arrival hotel staff were exceptionally rude and blunt, I explained we had just lost our Nan and they made an already very difficult situation much worse by initially agreeing that we could all stay together then changing their mind and forcing us to book another room without offering a refund if we decided to go elsewhere. Upon check out hotel staff began demanding payment for the “2 coffees” we had a breakfast and the “eggs” we ordered for my 1 year old although we had already paid for breakfast with the room. I’m appalled, upset and shocked to have been treated in this manner. I could see the hotel manager having a heated argument outside the hotel with another guest and so it seems we are not the only ones feeling this way. The double bed was 2 singles together so all night I was uncomfortable in the middle of the joint. Very upset at this experience
