    The staff are friendly and helpful, the dog friendly room was perfect, very comfortable bed , 2 comfortable chairs in front of the tv, bathroom was spotlessly clean as was the whole room. Shower was roomy and hot. We had everything we needed. Cooked breakfast was lovely at an extra cost ,booked the previous day. Will definitely return and recommend to others. Thank you to all at the Green dragon and a happy new year!. X

    Needed to book a room near to the Wensleydale railway to get the best out of a days travel and what a choice, in the centre of Bedale this pub hotel was just what I was looking for, the single compact room was ideal for my needs, a little noisy during pub opening hours but that did not interrupt my good nights sleep, the continental breakfast included in the price met my needs, you can order a cooked breakfast at an extra cost, there are good bus links at a stop opposite the hotel, I would recommend the Green Dragon for a one or more nights stay.

    A great pub. We were going to a wedding and had 3 rooms booked which were very clean and modern with lovely bathroom/shower. Bedale is lovely market Town well worth a visit.
