We wanted to visit Harrogate, and wanted somewhere out in the country but still close to Harrogate. We found The George Carvery & Hotel, approx 20 mins from the town. We couldn't book in until 4.30pm, but that was fine for us as we were looking around the area. Greeted by Josh who was extremely welcoming and friendly. Hotel room was great, lovely clean room & bathroom, partial views out to fields at back of hotel. What was great, was the peace & quiet being out in the country. The carvery was open on our arrival, so we unpacked then ate in the restaurant. A really tasty and well cooked carvery, veg were beautifully fresh,meats were perfect & staff were lovely and attentive, great value as well. 2 lovely nights, we enjoyed our room and would highly recommend.
On a side note, Rooms were up on 1st floor, so would not be suitable for disabled access. Thankyou for a lovely stay.
